·Looks like this is an open and shut case already, but I also noticed the poor strap quality, especially the back stitching. No way TAG would put something that cheap on their watches, even the F1s.
P Peffy03Interesting. Another new to eBay seller with only 11 feedback all from the last 30 days. He even has some good feedback on selling watches. I wonder if the buyers have any idea or if they are fake sales.
If you really want to see new to ebay.

By the way. Can you please link me to the seller you bought from?
Gentlemen, ladies, recently a friend asked me to identify an aquaracer CAK2110 watch by photos he sent me.
A
seeing it, I am a little baffled. The original owner said that he purchase them from AD, however I compare it to the one review in calibre11, and found that the position of the "500m" is positioned a little bit too the left.
But on catalogue 2014 2015, I found the blue colour has the "500m" a little bit too left too, but the black CAK2110 is not.
Are there two version of CAK2110 ?
I never trust a warranty card since it is commonly faked.
Last picture was compared from calibre11 review.

Not too many fake 6000s on eBay.
Please help.
I just bought this from eBay for around £600:
1000 980.013N Quartz
No box/papers.
Nothing on the case back, (some light scratched 5/97or 5197 CAB? no serial number (I understand that’s normal for this vintage).
Only writing I can make out:
“Swiss Parts. Seven 7 Jewels. Thailand Movement”. On green part of the movement
“955114” And a stamp I can’t make out on the silver.
Is it legit?
If it is, is there any way to date it?
Please help.

That is the ETA marque stamped next to their 955.114 quartz movement, which is used in production of the 1000 Professional. However, I am unsure how authentic that movement is. That said, I don't see any glaring issues with the dial or bezel. Case and jubilee bracelet appear correct as well.
The case back may or may not be original: https://heuerville.wordpress.com/2010/09/18/tag-heuer-1000-980-013n/
I would expect TAG's marque to be stamped on the back at a minimum. It also seems that the interior case back should have some writing as seen in this blog post.
Case back looks fine but nothing on the interior.
As you mentioned earlier, there are apparently a bazillion variants of this case back. Honestly, I'm not sure this example is original to the 1000 Professional, but this model was made over many years. It might be a "Frankenwatch" or it might be all original parts to this particular watch. I'm not sure if there are ways to determine this - say, additional writing or stamping along the interior of the empty case.
All of that said, here is an example that has the same back as yours and sold here on this forum: https://forums.calibre11.com/threads/sold-tag-heuer-1000-980-013n-38mm-full-size.34587/
Further to what I said originally above, I think the movement is actually genuine. Just was very surprised to see Thailand on there!!
