Unlikely to be fake, make sure the bracelet is long enough before you buy... not always the easiest links to get!
No problem to me. My wrist is quite narrow. 馃榾
But I'd like to use the brown leather bracelet. It fits nice with this dial.

Trying to find out about this watch.. I wanted a F1 Gulf racing edition. Found one on ebay in a bid auction that I won for around 800$.
No auth certificate, no receipt, didn't include the gulf edition box.
I paid and shortly after, ebay suspended the sellers account and wont tell me why. The watch arrived today.

Appears to have the correct crown, the back looks correct, the illumination looks correct. From every picture ive found online its a perfect copy of the Gulf watch.

Can anyone help me out, i would like to be as sure as possible before the return policy is up.

Based on the serial not correlating to the correct case reference number plus the spacing on the tachymetre bezel (the word "TACHYMETRE" should be evenly spaced between the 60 and 240, I'd say this is a fake, unfortunately. Or at least the bezel is not original.

The pushers and crown also don't look like they are quite the right color (i.e. not as uniformly black as on the TAG website).

What was the seller name? Because I"m responsible for most of the suspensions lol

are the watches on Jomashop.com genuine? They seem to be the lowest priced source for Tag.

Look at the 60 second register at the 3 o'clock position. If it has 4 long indices at 2,4,8,10 it is original. If it has 12 long indices, it's fake.

The subdial at 2/3 o'clock position is definitely different. The listing seems to show a genuine watch whereas you received something different.

whats amazing to me is how good the rest is. the caseback, the crown, the hands, the illumination... its all so good, you would think they could successfully knockoff the small dial and the bezel..

I agree - they were quite close in many ways.

Although I just noticed the strap is wrong as well - the line along the edge is missing in the fake. But, interestingly, they got the brand stamp correct (as far as I can tell) on the brown side.

Hard part is, now they are using the newer better boxes, And other tell tale signs are going away.

Interesting. Another new to eBay seller with only 11 feedback all from the last 30 days. He even has some good feedback on selling watches. I wonder if the buyers have any idea or if they are fake sales.
