Looks dodgy to me. Blurry photos are always a red flag themselves. As you say, this one appears not to have a chronograph but the subdials tell the day (1-7) and month (1-12 in reverse!). Side pushers and caseback also look suspicious. Plus the price is another giveaway.

Even if it was real and only $10, I’d pass. It looks hidious. (Just my opinion of course, others may very well disagree).

I always thought that the 3 and the 9 are cut off a little due to the sub dials. Also the date being in the 4:00 spot seems wrong as well? I thought that the date should be between the 4:00 and 5:00 space. It would be great to discover my thoughts of it being a fake were wrong because I am sure I could pick it up and have only the repair costs into it. (no clue as to what those would be though)

I came across this on "LetGo" and people always seem to never have decent photos on there. I always find myself looking for some good vintage watches from someone cleaning out their parents or grandparents stuff who don't know what they may have. haha I'm currently in an vintage Angelus phase right now (Datoluxe and Dato12). lol

I am with you partially. It would be one that I probably would not keep in the long run but if I could make a little off it or work it into a trade later down the road I would in a hurry but again... I'm really thinking that this one is a knock-off.

I think it's meant to be a CAC1111.BA0850. There are lots of pictures of the real deal if you Google this model number.

The example above looks wrong to me. The pushers and the crown seems wrong and as others have said the face looks wrong - the 3 and 9 should be cut off by the sub-dials and the date window is in the wrong place.

Blurry photos are always a bad sign. Most people have a phone good enough to take a sharp close up these days.

Also, if they are honest about it having stopped working after swimming with it, I would not want to buy a water damaged watch, even if it was genuine 😀

Thanks for the true reference, it does look like a bad copy, the bezel is wrong too (underlines under the 5/10/15 where the real deal does not).

I’m popping into the Tag Heuer Middle East office in the next week or so, so if I remember I’ll ask them about this watch.

It doesn't look like an obvious fake...I haven't heard of this model, but it's likely to be genuine
