Thoughts on this? Guy on another forum insists it's real and came from a TH outlet. Two of us aren't convinced

I'd never seen that face or bezel before on a Formula 1. Apparently it's suposed to be a WAH111C. Not a great photo there, but even if it's real the design is fugly IMO 😀

A quick google says you're right. Not seen that one before. Doesn't look too bad on google images. Awful picture he used

Those high polished F1s are prone to bad photographs, you often see them on EST1897 and other sites looking terrible. I think that's genuine personally... not least because I doubt fakers would chose an alarm watch to fake!

Hi everybody, new member here. I previously purchased a TAG ref 669.713T and was hoping somebody could give me an authenticity check. It appeared to be of great craftsmanship and solid quality until I noticed one thing: several hour markers looked a little off on the dial. The crown, bezel, case back, and everything else look perfect. Could somebody help clarify this for me so I can get some peace of mind? Thanks

*look at the 6 & 7 o'clock markers as opposed to the 4 & 5 o'clock markers* also, with it being bought from Ebay, (worst case scenario) is there any way to get my money back if they sold me a replica?
P.S. sorry for my ignorance when it comes to watch authenticity.

What do you mean by "a little off"? I can't tell much from the photo. You need to post a hi-res, in-focus, close-up of the dial. But I don't see any red flags looking at the watch generally.

I can see what you mean about the hour markers... but overall it looks fine.

Do you see how the hour markers have less space between them and the dots past 6 o'clock than they do at the 4 o'clock and 5 o'clock markers? I could just be one thinking it

Not really, no. Can't you post a better photo?

The screw back will probably tell us more than the front. The front looks okay to me.

I was thinking the 7 and 1 don't line up, but I think it's probably an illusion caused by the camera angle.

I recently bought this formula 1 series 1. I was told that it’s a special design made in the eighties for ANA (All Nippon Airlines) as you can see on the photo. Could you please confirm if it’s true. And if so, does it give it any kind of extra value?
Thanks in advance

Well first off, the watch looks genuine, but it's not a special design... I own this watch without the logo, whether it adds value is debateable - maybe a small amount but only in Japan or to an avid collector. I have seen a classic F1 with a 'BP' logo on it, but it wasn't valued much higher than a normal one. On the plus side yours looks to be in excellent condition!

Thank you, I paid 250€ for it. Does it seem resonable to you? What’s in your opinion the market price for this watch?
