Thank you, I paid 250€ for it. Does it seem resonable to you? What’s in your opinion the market price for this watch?
Regards
I paid £200 for mine a few weeks ago, so given that yours looks in even better condition than mine and adding in a little for rarity I would say that's about right. However, I have noticed that the price on these fluctuates a lot...

Hello forum members,
First post long time reader. I can’t thank you guys enough for the collective knowledge of this forum. I recently purchased my first tag and have two questions. First I paid $550 for the watch, was that a fair price? And second is there any benefit in sending the watch back to tag for a battery change versus taking it to a local AD? Thanks in advance for any and all responses, JT

Hi, first of all congrats on your purchase, I've just got my first SEL too - I hope you're loving yours as much as I am!
As to your query, it seems there's a lot of myths about 'going back to TAG', so the only things that genuinely 'go back to TAG' are things that the local service centres can't do - so for example if you have a Microtimer and it has a problem then that would actually go back to Switzerland. Everything else will go back to a 'Service centre' in your country, I know that if you take it back to Goldsmiths or if you take it to 'About Time' in Debenhams they go to the same place, which is basically a service centre authorized to do work on TAG Heuer and other brands. This can take about 3 weeks, sometimes longer. Alternatively you can take it back to somewhere like 'About Time' and they will change the battery and pressure test it for you on site in an hour and charge you £45 (instead of £85 to send it away). I think the main difference is that if you send it away they 'might' replace the seals (but I don't know 100% about that, you should ask). It depends if you intend to get the watch wet and if you want to be without the watch or not. Personally I never get my watches wet so I would just have it done on site. Especially if the watch doesn't have that much intrinsic value, it's a bit mad to spend £300 on a old 6000 series and then spend £85 changing the battery.

I purchased this watch in 2009 from an at the authorized TAG dealer (Jared). It was pre owned. They said a wife bought it for her husband, he did not like it so it was returned within the allotted time for getting a refund. I like the watch but these days don’t wear it much. Condition is meh. I was given papers but lost them. My concern is it does not appear to have a serial number. Based on these pictures can anyone offer an opinion on it’s authenticity? Thanks in advance.

Hello please could anyone tell me is this a fake or not I have absolutely no idea myself.
Apparently it was purchased as an original but has now been passed over to me.

Thanks in advance for any information and advice you may give.

It doesn't look fake to me. Correct part number on the back etc.
