My ‘Milton’ S/el didn’t have a serial number. Lovely watch though.
Good to know, that was one of my concern

Thanks @mattp, that really helps. Potential evidence to support my "theory", as yours is an early first release version with the polished case-back cover and ref # above the logo.

^Last posts by @Gene242 and answers by @Mspeedster and @mattp moved to this specific thread about authenticity, and because this is not the Senna’s S/el that the original thread was about

It does not find it in the TH database, so I wrote an email to them and received the following reply:
"Dear Sir,
This serial number belongs to WAY211A.FT6151"
I wrote to the seller from Ebay I the original seller and am waiting for a response.

I talked to the original seller from Japan and got this answer. Now I need to clarify this with Tag Heuer.

Hey everyone. New here. My buddy at work said he has a Tag if I am interested. Problem is, I have seen way too many fakes and do not know enough about them. Could any of yall give your expertise on the subject with the photos included? Thank you for any and all help!

It's fake - bezel numbers & text too thick, index & date window wrong, caseback logo is also wrong.

Also pretty sure the CAZ101AL uses the other deployant.

Thank you. I had a bad feeling about this one from the get go. Thank you for reaffirming my suspicions.

I'm no expert whatsoever, but one glance at the "SPEED" text on the bezel was enough to make me doubt it. Each letter is misaligned. If only they were all so simple to spot!

That's an interesting sort of Kiriumish kinda thing. But Imagwai is 100% correct.

What should I do with it keep it or will it have any value in selling?

Depends on your morals I guess... I doubt you'll get much for it. Maybe £100-200 max if someone's gullible enough.

Nevermind then I think I’ll just give it to my maid

Hi guys! Thanks for your input all along my “journey”. I got my money back and finally bought the watch I posted here a few weeks ago. Shot some close up photos, what do you think? The serial number checker doesn’t recognise it (ending in 22) but recognises serials ending in 21 or 23 of WAY201As, so I guess it may not be that much of a problem?
