There are 3 different versions of the same watch. Do all of them have the same (I mean 100% same) looking movement on the inside?

The screenshot below, taken from Chrono 24, belongs to the same version of the Cal 1887. And it looks just like mine. So maybe you may be mistaken?

Another screenshot belonging to another watch on Chrono. So, apart from the looks of the movement, which I have to ignore as a comment based on the info I have just provided, can you give me anything that indicates that my watch is not authentic?

Yes movement is the biggest tell.

Either buy the fake watche(s) & be happy with a fake.

Or don’t buy. Simples

I think you have misread my comment. As far as I know, Chrono does not sell fake watches. Also, I still do not get which parts/sections of the movement of my watch indicates that it is a fake, given that exactly the same movement is also present in the watches on Chrono. Also, my watch came with full certificates and documents etc. but let's say that those could be forged as well. Please tell me which part of the movement indicates that it is a fake. For your info, Cal 1887 comes in 3 versions: The first version, which I have in my possession does not have a tachymeter at all. The second version has the tachymeter inside the dial, while the third version has a tachymeter bezel. In light of these facts, please do enlighten me what indicates that the watch I have is a fake. Thank you.

Quality wise there is still a difference with how yours looks compared to this

Yes, because I did not take the photo under a studio setting, with black background and corrected images etc. So again, I am sorry but comparing two photographs "quality wise" is a very poor argument.

My dad found this watch that someone had gifted him at least 20 years ago, probably longer. Can anyone tell me about its authenticity?

Battery needs to be replaced

The first tell from your picture is the movement

Still, a very insufficient and vague answer. I have presented two other watches with the exact same movement, on sale, right now, on Chrono. So, please, if I am missing something that you do not, indicate that. Thank you.

Very fake.
Hell everyone, could you please identify whether my watch is authentic or not:

Looks fine to me - early CAR2110 before they switched to the tachy chapter ring and the revised 1887. Likely serviced, which is why it has the early rotor and column wheel but looks like one of the automatic winding wheels has been updated.

It’s the column wheel that was making me say fake, not seen one like previously.

There's one in the original 1887 linked by YY77, which also shows the original automatic winding wheel design in the gap of the rotor 😀

Thank you. For your educated answer, backed by solid info.
Is it safe to assume that the watch is authentic, then?

I'd say so - if it is a fake, it's either a frankenstein or a 1:1 copy of an old and frankly unprofitable watch to fake. Occam's Razor would indicate it's genuine. Dial, hands, case - all appear fine. Likely the fact that it's an uncommon revision of that watch - the early non-tachy pre-revision 1887 - threw a few people here.
