The one that looks like this, the Calibre 36 Caliper was only available with a black dial.

Yea look like that calipter but i opened the watch and was no automatic. You said there no quartz grand carrera watches so mine must be fake. But he offered me also a real Zeno Watch Basel automatic also. That one i know its a real one.

^Last post by @johannes tok moved to this specific thread about authenticity

Johannes, the serial number alone means nothing. If the watch is fake, the criminals also can copy a legit serial number, so it could be hundreds of fake watches with the same legit serial number on them.

If you post more pictures of this watch, where we can clearly see the dial, caseback, buckle… then it would be easier to check its authenticity

Hello thanks for your reply but can you elaborate with any points why you come to this conclusion Thanks

The dial logo, the shade of blue and the plastic around the bracelet. Better quality photos without so much reflection might help.

Yes this is a very poorly made fake. Report the criminal seller to the police

If it is true that a jeweler told you that thing is authentic, we have yet again evidence why no one should ask sales people in a store the authenticate watches

Ebay looked at the Calewon x TAG Heuer watch again, for about 5 days this time, and still managed to come to the conclusion that it was real.

What an absolute joke.

Ebay is all about providing a criminal platform for counterfit goods 🥰

Also a silver movement. Tag always use the golden movement. This is 6 jewels swiss parts , chinese assembled. The gold one is 13 jewels swiss parts, swiss assembled.
All fakes i have seen use this movement , the silver one.

Tag Heuer did not ALWAYS use golden movement. They didn't even always use swiss movements. I do not know how common it is/was, or when or what models, but for sure, in the early 1990's, the Tag Heuer 2000 came bouth with the signed golden ETA955.112 and a signed silver ETA 955.114.
