Can't see any obvious problems and this is extremely unlikely to be faked. Only thing is it is a midsize so quite small (35mm) but if you have small wrists then it will be okay

Thank you, and yes that should be alright with my wrist size

👍

Nice to see someone appreciate this era of TAG Heuer. I have a larger 1500 with a GMT hand. Great watch.

I am more of a vintage fan myself. Also only 17 so this was about as luxurious as I was affording. It does look very good tho, definitely a fan of the 1500 series.

Any thoughts on the images attached? Will also take out a pin and barrel when I can and post along with some better pictures.

Thanks in advanced.

Hang tag look like the ones the replicas have. Unsure about the lume pip on the bezel. A bit hard to say on that one. Pin/barrel is a good way.

Thanks JAH, I'll post some better pics tomorrow and take the pin and barrel out. Seller has a retail receipt from an AD with it and seems genuine so will be interesting!

Are the bracelet center links brushed? Should be polished, sparkling and blingy

I inherited this watch, with no box or paperwork, I know absolutely nothing about watches or Tag Heuer, so I hope someone can please tell me a little about what I have.

I’m sorry but this watch is 100% fake.

It’s trying to copy a TAG Heuer S/el chronograph, but even the chronograph pushers are missing…

Foiled again…. I can’t say I’m terribly surprised, but it is a disappointment. I’m not sure what chronograph pushers even are, but I thought it was a bit sketchy that the last 5 on what I assume was the model number wasn’t fully etched. Thanks for the heads up though, it’s greatly appreciated.

These are the chronograph pushers missing in your watch, in addition to other details that clearly indicate that it is a fake. Sorry again

Hello all!

New to the forum. I restore watches as a hobby but am not at all familiar with Tag Heuer. What do you think about this Aquaracer? I have concerns about the clasp, it just seems off. But then again I've seen pictures of supposedly authentic ones with similar design. The finish inside the numbers on the bezel also looks rough.

Hi guys, bought a WAY211A last week, everything looks great to my eye and the papers check out. I just noticed one thing that I remember reading about but now I cant find it. The font for 1 on the date wheel is different for 1 and 11 compared to all other used on the date wheel. Id this legit?

Hi new member, could anyone help me out with this, I bought it off eBay and I wouldn't be questioning it if it wasn't for the warranty card being in Japanese and no warranty number on the card that I can see. And the serial number I've blurred out on the picture so if it is real nobody can clone it. But the serial number doesn't come up on the tag site either. I questioned the seller and he sent me a pdf file that appears to be from tag heuer, of him sending the watch to them and them authenticating it but a pdf isn't hard to make yourself either. And I emailed the tag support and they said they can't help with contacting that service center. I'm in a pickle as I can return it and get my money back or I can risk sending it off for authentification for weeks and then it might be too late to get a refund of it does turn out to be fake.
