Most AD's are trained to sales pitch, not authenticate unfortunately. If you send those watches to Tag Heuer for service they will return them saying fake.
I know an AD that authenticated a fake, until i showed him differences.

Hi , mine is the last one , black aquaracer ,

Hello

Is it my formula 1 caliber 16
cau2014 eau1423 fake ?

I got this in 2016 for some debt. Recently I have to brand jewelers in deptford mall who is tag huer watch selling. They gave me two options one is tag huer service maintenance it take 6 month’s and other Option in New York watch technicians who work with them. I gave two for maintenance to watch technicians for 400 usd maintenance. They said originall watch. After maintenance watch couldn’t pass the water leak test. Technician told me we need steam they ordered from tag huer but steam didnt fit. Then tag huer told to technician watch is over seas or fake we don’t have that serial number.

so I want to know this watch exactly fake or overseas original ?

^ Last post by @Gezinhsn moved to this specific thread about authenticity

Please @Gezinhsn , don’t publish the same post asking for the authenticity of your watch in different threads of our forum. This is the proper thread for that. Thanks 👍

BTW, looking at the pictures of your watch, it’s strange that a Tachymetre bezel rotates… It should not rotate. Also this CAU2014 reference doesn’t exist, so your watch is fake. I’m sorry

Thanks for your help.

That bracelet should have pin and barrel even if it is a Formula one. Post a pic of the pin and barrel.

One thing i notice is that the bracelet seems to be metallic on the inside center piece. Newer ones are black as the outside. Maybe someone in here know if that is supposed to be like that or not ? At least what i can se from the inside picture.

The hang Tag is not original. Often the retailers do not know when they take replicas on a trade.
That watch is most likely a replica. i would return it. My bet is that if that watch is sendt to Tag Heuer for service it comes back defined as a replica.
Please take a closeup pic of the lume "pip" on the bezel Sir.

Hi all. I recently purchased this watch used. I did a lot of checking and it seems to be legit and correct. Figured I would post some pictures here to get your ideas. Thanks!

I think it looks good. To be certain, take out a pin and barrel from the bracelet and post a pic. Then you know for sure.
Not entirely sure that bracelet have pin/barrel , but i think it has. Maybe some input from other members ?

Hey, I found this watch for sale and, for the price, I liked it but that bezel is throwing me off and I'm not in any way knowledgeable on TAG Heuer. Could anyone let me know if this might be a fake? Thanks!

Sorry, but it's 100% fake. The bezel is actually quite convincing, as is the bracelet, but the rest of it is bad. And they didn't make a dial like that in the 4000 range. Also the 4000 doesn't have a cyclops and the hands look like they came off a much smaller watch.

These look like listing pictures. Can you take some pictures of the watch you actually have?

I can't take better ones, and the watch matches exactly to the pictures. I mean to a T. I have used a loupe and everything to check. When I get some time I can see what I can do.

Hey guys, can you please take a look at the WAY211A I want to buy in the link, I am unfortuanately not able to download them. Model number and serial on the back look wonky, not sure if it is just the photo. https://www.marktplaats.nl/v/sierad...m2123038521-tag-heuer-aquaracer-in-nieuwstaat

The only thing I can tell you is that the WAY211A (41 mm) should have the older "stylized" TAG Heuer logo (i.e. the one with the arrows in the letter G) and not the new logo (straight text - "TAG"). So if the seller is advertising that watch as a WAY211A, it's incorrect and I would stay away. See below for what a WAY211A should look like:

https://www.tagheuer.com/ca/en/time...41-mm-calibre-5-automatic/WAY211A.BA0928.html

The watch in the photos looks more like a WAY201A (43 mm).
