Again, I really wouldn't expect this to be on the website. It's got to be 10-15 years old, so why would it show up? For what it's worth I can't see anything obviously wrong with this one.

No, I mean... the warranty checker is just that, a 'warranty checker' it's not an authenticator. Your watch is at least 8 years out of warranty, probably more. It's most likely that when your watch was new that feature on the website wasn't even up and running. I'm sure TAG have better things to do with their time than adding every watch they've ever made just to tell you it's out of warranty when it should be obvious. Although to be fair, if you don't know much about the watch then maybe you don't know how old it is?

I assumed it was about 10 years old yes, but I'm no tag expert just fancied one.
And I get what you mean now yes. As I said it was more the warranty card being in Japanese with no warranty number on it that made me question it, else I wouldn't have at all tbh!

So the card doesn't have the serial number on it? That's odd. I have a watch from Japan and I'm pretty sure it has the serial number in readable text (rather than Japanese symbols). Even so I don't think your watch is fake.

Thanks for the replies. Yes it's a weird one, it's almost like a sticker from the Japanese (I think it's japanese anyway) shop on the actual card, I don't really want to take the sticker off the card and see if there's one underneath but I may well do.

No I wouldn't do that. To be honest a warranty card proves nothing anyway. Even less if you can't read it...

True!...if I took it to a tag shop would they be able to look at it onsite to confirm?

I think they just use the same system.
Tha is for your help you were indeed right it is real. I phoned up the tag heuer service center and they have a receipt of them having that watch in for authentification and servicing and confirmed it's real.

Hi guys,

I would appreciate your take on this Monaco CW2111

The crown is obviously from aother model. The owner told me he changed it due to damage. He told me that crystal and gasket were replaced with aftermarket parts. What do you think?

Dear Tag experts,

I would appreciate your help on the authenticity of this Tag Aquaracer WAY101C BA0746. However it’s sold with an aftermarket blue strap and the orignal included

Sorry about the bad photos, but on my own I can't check out if it's orignal. The serial number WKC8483 matches perfectly with the model and year on the site, so either legit or cleverly copied? I have no proof of purchase or warranty card. From my research it looks legit, but please tell me experts as I can’t see the fine details!!!

Thanks Matt

Bezel pip (although pics not great) and overall quality/sheen/colours. But as I say, better pics and a real expert needed to confirm. I'm sure there'll be one along shortly.

Thanks for your response and time, much appreciated. Anyone else share this opinion?

I agree with Charlie, that is definitely not an authentic TAG Heuer. Make sure to report the seller to the police.

Agreed. If you wish total confirmation, pull out a pin and barrel from the bracelet and post a pic.
