Yes and no. Ir does act like a case and back plate and crystal. It in some way is supposed to be put into something.

 

Wait. I think I figured it out finally! I’m so dense lol. I’ve had a couple of these things, for years. Never made the connection. I think they are the metal cases that go into the plastic housing!

No idea who this guy is or where he works but not very convincing if this is how preowned dealers verify authenticity

The chrono is running... the dial looks good...the crystal is hard... the caseback should be sharp and deep but I cant really feel it cause of the plastic... it has a Ronda movement.. = genuine!

As if a "good" fake cant have Ronda movement, well made dial, caseback and a proper sapphire crystal?

Do you think this is similar to how Ebay authenticity program works?

 

This guy.... this is the guy who sells horse racing tips, do you remember? He changed the name of his channel, I think it was called Authentic Swiss Watches or something like that originally. They are fake. He threatened us in the comments, said we should watch our backs

 

Oooooh yes, that guy. So he posts these videos as a way to convince people what he sells is genuine and trying to demonstrate being a trustworthy seller

 

So should we have the forum mass attack him with comments now? Just to prove a point

This look off to me. Look how close the numbers on the bezel insert are to the edge.... also it looks like too violet and not blue enough

 

Pics look like crap on my phone. Can’t see enough details. Box is fake tho. Numbers in bezel seem fine. I have one of these fakes. Everything looks great, until the bezel pip. Even the buckle is the right style, which used to be the way to tell fake from real. Specifically, the button mechanism. The fakes never had that littte plastic separater, and were made cheaply.

 

Compared bezel numbers to my WAY208C my numbers are in the middle, these are closer to the outer edge.

 

Not even consistent around the whole watch...

 

I got this, before I knew enough. actually thought it was real. Listing for removed. seller refunded me without a return View attachment 1355997

 

What sucks is, that guy probably got ripped off himself and has no idea.
