I know someone who bought one of these, he put it on a NATO 馃ぎbecause the bracelet was so terrible it was unwearable. I suggested he get the appropriate blue rubber strap but he said he doesn't like rubber.

But he likes NATOs.

WTF?

Right?

They look too good. I compared the F1 with the same reference my son has and everything, including the plastic band is spot on. The usage marks on the case are too random to be fake imo. Not saying all are genuine. The blue chronos I don't know a lot about. They too look really good so who knows. Faking blue 1000s is a hell of a lot easier than faking these funky F1s. Would simply be too costly I reckon.
I don't know enough about these watches. Made before I was born. But I also feel these just can't be fake. Way too good. The fake 1500's we've seen, at least have tell tale signs, but also, they only copied the rare ones. Why would someone make all of these? These aren't all that rare. In this condition? Sure. But in general? Nah.

Where do you get these things?
man lol really hard to say. I've been buying inventory for like 20 years. Sometimes my suppliers include this stuff in the lot. Completely useless to me, but still interesting to see. What's really useless, is those damn square prototypes. I also have these weird "cases", that are just cylinders with a case back and crystal, but no anything else. I never understood what the hell those were.

holy crap lol good catch. They got so lazy, they confused the bracelet number, with the serial number. At least with that first Formula. The ceramic one, I don't know wtf BA0828 is supposed to be.

BA0828 is the reference for an Aquaracer bracelet.

Had a brain fart. I'm normally really good with bracelet numbers.

Hello I am new to Tag Heuer and found this watch in an auction that isn't getting much attention and might get it cheap. My issue is I'm not knowledgeable enough yet to tell if its a redial or a fake, and if it is a fake I don't want it at all. So if some of the more knowledgeable people here would be willing to give me their advice I would appreciate it very much. Also I apologize these are the only 2 photos available of the watch.

It's a good fake for the time, but it is definitely fake. The case is the wrong shape.

I had a coworker that wore one to work everyday. It had 1500 professional written on the dial, but the case was shaped more like an S/EL. She knew it was fake, but still liked it.
