Is my TAG Heuer Authentic? All questions here please

Can someone help me ID the exact model of this 980.613b?

I’m 99.9% sure it’s authentic, but I can’t find this exact dial—with the colored logo—anywhere. I saw on another forum a while ago that only a few hundred 980.613x’s were produced with this variation and it’s now a collectors piece for that reason, but I can’t find any information to substantiate that.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

980.613 is a watch with a deep navy dial.

The case must be genuine, but the bezel and dial is likely to be repaired.
As a proof, the profissional logo part is rough.

Yeah, maybe the case is real, but these 1000s have a history with this thread for sure!

The font in the “T.SWISS MADE.T” writing looks strange to my eyes.

First of all I just want to say 'Hi!' due to the fact I'm new to this forum.
2nd, I'm not sure if I post this in the right section, any Mod may move the post if necessary and I apologize if I post in the wrong section.
My question to you out there, who have more knowledge than me on this, is that I wonder what the letter 'G' on the lug stands for in this picture?
Sometimes it's a 'Y' and sometimes a 'G'.
If it's a 'Y', is it a real watch and 'G' is a fake?

Sorry for my bad English, it's not my 1st language.

As far as I can tell from my 2 decades of dealing with these, no one actually knows what the letters stand for. Someone can prove me wrong tho lol. Maybe different factory. Or year. Production line. Who knows. But it is in no way indicative of authenticity. You'd have to give us more information and pictures.

So you mean the loose wrap, I get ya.
Here is a more clear cut example of what I meant.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/124868907721

See how the film is super loose? Rather than wrapping around the bracelet? Underside has it and top has it, and then they meet in the middle. Two parts. Which always leads to them getting super loose. It's weird, because a lot of cheap watches do the same thing. Yet fake tag heuers don't lol.

Same seller as the fake formula 1. He has quite a lot of watches, and his other stuff appears to be real. So not a fake seller. Tho it's weird how he lists them as used, even tho they have the tape, and also clearly weren't sold from a dealer, as the tag still has all the stickers.

Thank you very much for your answer!
Someone told me that only real TAG Heuer has the letter 'Y' on those lugs, but I'm not so sure.
I've contacted TAG Heuer and asked about the letter 'G' and 'Y', but I'm still waiting for a reply.

Aww man. Even the Japanese market is being infiltrated with fakes. Usually you can trust Japanese sellers. No more, I guess.
My eyes might just be getting old, but I'm not seeing the problem here. Can you educate me?📖

The caz1014 is often one of the easiest fakes to spot, just compare the seconds sub dial to a real one and you will see it right away

"These TAG Heuer watches are rare, so if you have one like this, you're sure to get a lot of attention.
It's a very rare item that you can't usually get, so it's recommended for those who want to make a difference."

Wow, scary things those 1000's. And many online sellers specialize in them.

Maybe it spent its life in a drawer and therefore remained like new?
