I thought the old blue stuff on the bracelet was supposedly a sure fire fake?

Nah, I've seen it with the blue before. It's the type of wrap, rather than the color. Tag heuer uses long strips of plastic on the top and bottom of the bracelet. Fakes use one large section and wrap it around the bracelet completely. Just easier to do it that way, I guess. But that is always the dead give away. I really couldn't tell you why and when tag uses blue or clear. Sometimes they use both too.

eh, sorta. I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean by loose wrap. Because unless it's been handled, both fake and new can have very tight wrap. The real ones can almost looked wrapped too. The top strip is folded over the bottom strip, making it look like one. Maybe hard to explain in words...

Okay, the ones where I've seen them look more like a blue plastic bag rather than film...

If so what do you know about it. I can't find one similar and looks like it has a different back than most Tag watches. Any assistance I appreciate it.

that is 100% real. Lucky you.


Fake SEL's were very easy to spot lol. They were some of the works fakes you can imagine. Look through this thread to see many examples of such.

But you, are good to go. That would have been one of the most expensive ones of the time too.

Can anyone confirm if this Aquaracer Carbon is real? They did provide me the e-receipt and I checked the serial # against the Tag Warranty Activation System which all matched up. Not sure if there's something else to check
