Ideal working hours.
Calendar button does not work.
I do not have a box and a passport.
The money will not be returned.
Clock is expensive.
Well before you buy it themselves can not answer that question.

Hi everyone, I am new member and I'd like to tap into your expertise as to whether this watch is authentic. I got it with a warranty card and a box from a well known and respected third party US retailer...still...I could not find conclusive info about the 2/8th, 4/8th and 6/8th of a second marks shown on the dial, as opposed to the FOUR fraction of a second marks on identical CAW2110 models posted on the official TAG websites and other retailers' sites. Can anybody help? Thanks in advance. Sal

I had never noticed this detail! But it looks like there are two versions of the calibre 12 dials, also for the other colour variants. This is strange 馃槙

That's what happens when even a genuine Grand Carrera looks like a ridiculous fake! 馃槤

I found this listed as a WV211A, but I think it should have batons all round. So it's either wrongly numbered or fake?

I was close to making a colossal mistake last in bidding on a Singapore limited edition on eBay.
I previously shared this watch in the auction thread, and saw it reemerging back a couple of days ago, with very low bids, and thoughts hey, a limited edition for dirt cheap!

Being on the phone, with small, blurry photos, I opened up the listing on a larger screen and started digging as it did not feel right.

Well, it was a fake, a very well executed replica.

Fallacies:
-Photos were from a distance, low quality and overexposed. The checkered dial on the original was not to be seen.
-The word tachymeter on the bezel has an incorrect placement, too close to 400 and not centered, sitting too close to the border.
-No green lining on the top pusher
-Lume on hands is incorrect, should be longer
-The post was then updated with a back photo of the watch, confirming doubts

I ended up not bidding; the watch sold for 740$.

Between you and me, I still go back and forth to the photos to double check!

I have a few questions about a Tag Heuer watch that was given to me in by my late grandmother. The battery is dead and I want to take it to a certified Tag dealer to have it replaced, but don't want to embarrass myself if it's a fake. I did some research on it and it seems to be a 2000 professional (?).

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

That is indeed a classic TAG Heuer 2000 series. I've got the same "model", but in the men's size with black dial. You should take it in to get the battery changed out ASAP, as there is a risk of acid leakage after the battery dies which could ruin the movement. You might also want to consider getting a service if one hasn't been done already.

Congrats on your watch. It's beautiful and will keep the memory of your grandmother with you...

Battery leakage....eeekkkkk it's been dead for about 4 years now. I will definitely take it in for service as well.
