That was my first reaction too, although I'm not 100% confident. The bezel for this model should be black

Bezel could have been swapped from this model, but still the bezel design is off

Mmm, maybe you're right actually. The caseback logo does look genuine. I was thrown by the poorly fitting bracelet, seemingly broken date mechanism and dial though.

The seconds hand looks too short, the color of the date window doesn't mach the color of the dial, no reference number on an unpolished caseback. Finally, the bracelet links are made of bended steel, while the original ones are not: this is an easy giveaway for most watches with jubilee bracelet or similar.

"Authentication" just plain printed sheet plus some biro scribble. Without a header or stamp, you would assume the watch has never been near that Jeweler.

Hi all, new member today and I'd like to tap into your expertise as to whether this watch is the real thing please!! It has a stamped and signed guarantee from a listed stockist. I've done all the checks as recommended and it seems to pass them all. Hands glow in the dark too. What do you think? Thankyou

I meant the 'numbers' glow in the dark.

Also, white outer sleeve of the packaging has barcode, model and serial number on it.

HI @Vicki71 the pictures you posted are a bit blurry, but the watch appears legitimate. Why do you need assurance? Did you buy it on an online auction?

Thankyou!! The pictures are a bit fuzzy and don't actually do it justice. But I only query it because I'm just not that lucky! I paid for 3 entries 'mystery' deal. I got 2 pieces of rubbish and this! I want to give it to my son for Christmas, but don't want to give it to him doubting its authenticity. But I just can't find anything 'wrong' with it? Maybe I have been lucky for once?!

Hi everyone, I am new member and I'd like to tap into your expertise as to whether this watch is authentic. I got it with a warranty card and a box from a well known and respected third party US retailer...still...I could not find conclusive info about the 2/8th, 4/8th and 6/8th of a second marks shown on the dial, as opposed to the FOUR fraction of a second marks on identical CAW2110 models posted on the official TAG websites and other retailers' sites. Can anybody help? Thanks in advance. Sal
