I only watched the part where he talks about his F1 collection, didn't catch that he's working on a TH project. I'm not familiar with Kith, didn't watch the intro either. But it seems like an apparel fashion store, similar to Rowing Blazers. Which makes me guess that such a project might also involve Bamford.
Fujiwara / fragment, Supreme, KITH, Hubert....you get the picture.

His F1 collection does seem like it might point to that. However, Ronnie's a footwear and apparel fashion designer, what do you think his role would be if he's involved with an OG F1 reissue of sorts?
Hype.

Hype.
Yes, this hodinkee video seems like another splendid marketing strategy to build hype around an upcoming release

The colourful F1's at least make his collection slightly interesting 👍

Most of the rest just come across as something taken from "how to be popular when you buy watches as a wealthy person"

Rolex, Patek, Royal Oak, Vacheron 🥱

I believe the F1 will definitely be a collaboration with another brand. This could be the start of it coming to fruition.

Right, and even the Bamford X TAG collabs with Ruf & Ikuzawa were done with the daughters of the legends. Who themselves are more about using fashion to hype their fathers' legacy.

This may very well be, but Ronnie Fieg/KITH seems like an odd partner for the F1. He doesn't have any connection to the world of Formula 1 or watchmaking, as far as I know. If having an F1 collection is the basis of the partnership, they should do it with @Snowy, who's got the largest collection of OG and rare F1s of anyone I know. lol 😉

Has to be the rumored classic F1 line.
Classic F1? Meaning plastic cases and quartz movements? I thought TH was trying to move upscale.

I don't have any concrete details. If they do end up doing a series playing homage to the original F1s, then I would suspect they would do them in colorful ceramic cases and command a premium.

Could be very interesting. Let's hope they use real ceramic for the cases and not that plastic-and-ceramic mix Swatch uses, which bleeds color all over your wrist.

Lucky to get an invite to the Advanced screening of The Fall Guy with Tag Heuer tonight.
The Carrera is very prominent in many shots.
1 scene it is in full focus.

A Monaco SMQ perhaps, or is that just too on the nose?

Okay, give him a diamond bezel blue dial Link Cal 5

Interesting, wasn’t his watch a Benrus in this?
Correct.

A TAG Heuer seems like a longshot. But I'll be quite surprised if a modern day highland green Ford Mustang isn't in the new movie. Or perhaps a vintage original Mustang.

Bradley Cooper is a LV ambassador, maybe LMVH brand will let TH ride in on this one

Yeah, my point is that this is a great product placement opportunity to do an homage to McQueen.

I see that Chad McQueen, Steve's son, is one of the executive producers, along with Steve's granddaughter Molly McQueen. Chad is a Monaco fan and was present at the Red Monaco 50th's debut event. So if the right people get connected, it could happen. OTOH, Benrus fans would not be happy. 😗
