Connection problems

I’ve purchased the new Tag Connected golf edition and I’m having problems with the connectivity from the watch to the app, so I’m struggling to change watch faces . It worked fine for the first couple of weeks but now doesn’t connect to the app . It shows connected on Bluetooth on my iPhone but not the app . I’ve tried the usual restarts etc but nothing happens. Any tips out there please
