No, they didn't say. Are you saying that you were charged more than the prices in that photo? If so, that would seem to indicate that those prices are not correct

Thanks. Could I ask if you can send me a copy of that email? Info@calibre11.com

TAG Heuer HQ believes there could be some incorrect information in that graphic.

Thanks!

David
David I sent you the PDF over PM.

The email for US customers stated:
Dear Customer,

Thank you for your inquiry. TAG Heuer offers a trade-in program for the TAG Heuer Connected 46mm. This upgrade would require you to have purchased your Connected at least 2 years ago, from an authorized TAG Heuer retailer. At time of exchange, you would need to provide your receipt or completed warranty card, your Connected timepiece, and the required payment for the trade-in selection of your choice.

Attached, please find an information sheet detailing the various upgrade options and a form which would need to be completed and included in your shipment. Please also complete the form provided on the link below and print to include in your shipment.

Reply with an image of your receipt or warranty card for verification and your shipping address and phone number. We will be happy to further assist you in sending in your timepiece. Contact (866) 586-4500 with any further questions regarding the process.

Is that a starburst / brushed dial?

Doesn't the 45mm Modular have the flat black dial?

The crown is different from the 45mm mech module. Do you know if the 46mm has a titanium case back? Thanks.

The picture posted suggests otherwise.

Thanks, in comparison, the 45mm module looks great
Yes, but the top / bottom "caps" bother me. And the 45mm appears to be a flat black dial, whereas the 46mm seems to be starburst.

The sheer size and rubber makes it more on the diver side of the spectrum.

I dont understand apart from the size of 45 and 46mm there isnt much of a difference for the mechanical version. So what so special about the 46 mm that they name it calibre 5 special?

Also there is a f1 watch calibre 16 that cost 2800usd. Why cant we change to that since the exchange programme allows us to change of that value.

So confuse thinking its worth spending another 1500usd on a normal watch.

The 46 is 'special' because it is only available as a trade in for original owners of the Connected. It's not modular, larger and has a different bezel and back, compared to the 45mm module, and of course doesn't have the ugly top and bottom lugs that cover the modular mechanism.

If you really want the f1 instead, either sell the Connected and buy the f1, or swap the Connected for the 46mm and sell that.

Thank you for the reply. But am i right to say that the modular 45 mechnical has a vetter bezel since its ceramic and a better back as it is metal instead of plastic like 46. So actually 45 has better components than 46 other than the lugs being ugly on 45.
Hence dont really see any value in 46. Im trying to see other reasons why 46 better than 45 other than larger better lugs and the word special.
Really eanted a clear backing to see the mechanism.

Anyway do u reckon how much the 46mm would go for if i were to sell it?

Hard to say because they are so new to the market, maybe 拢1500?

Not sure- always hard when the module that I reviewed was a prototype. Possible that they changed the colour?

We should try to get confirmation from TAG Heuer, because if the 46mm is not starburst/brushed, then it would lose much of its appeal.

Just picked up the exchange 46mm tonight. I can say it's a titanium back. The dial isn't textured but has kind of a sheen to it when held at an angle to a light. The mechanical 45 module didn't seem to do this.

I always liked the 46 bezel a lot more than the 45 so that's why I went with the 46 mechanical. That and I just don't like those top and bottom caps. The 46 definitely does not have that.
