Update,10 weeks.

I received a phone call yesterday from the Tag store to come and pick up my watch as it had arrived. Option 2, looks great on.

Was told that Tag have now stopped all the options for UK customers, you can now, only order the secial edition, not sure if this is fact as i've been told a few different things over the weeks that have turned out to be wrong.

Looks like they are out of boxes for the complete watch, see picture, mine came all separate. 👎

Not sure I would enter into a deal such as this again, to much hassle, but its been an experience and the final product is great.

Glad you finally have the mechanical watch! 😀

I’m curious about your 4 boxes: one is for the mechanical Calibre 5 module, another for the straps... but the other two? Is one for the lugs and the other for the buckle? If so, could you please post a picture about how are inside these two extra boxes? I have never seen them! I have bought many buckles, but none of them arrived with box 🤔

Looks beautiful!
I don't think it's because they've run out of boxes. I presume it is because option 2 means a collection of modular parts rather than a complete watch.

I'm certainly very pleased with it, now its arrived.

Not sure how others received the their option 2, one box or many ?

The 2 long boxes held the strap in one and the clasp in the other, it looks like the clasp has just been put into a strap box because they are the same, the small boxes had the watch head and the lugs

I also have the mechanical module box and the strap box, but it’s the first time I see the lugs box! 😀 Thanks! 👍

And congratulations for your new Modular mechanical watch! Be careful now 😁, because there are a lot of different Modular straps (and buckles, lugs, bracelets), and also the Calibre 16 chronograph module... 😗

After waiting 8 weeks for my trade-up I am being told it will be 5 (+) months until back orders will be filled....
Bright side, they are returning my connnected until it can be replaced!

Seems the wait is getting longer, but certainly worth it when you eventually receive your watch.
Witch option have you gone for ?

In Canada we only have one option and that was the Special Edition Caliber 5

Likewise in the UK, the options seem to have been only for a limited time.

New UK member here and i'm glad I actually found this forum as I wasn't aware of the 3 month window for an upgrade.

So I've emailed Tag (Sunday) no reply as yet, so I've popped in to 2 local Tag Heuer suppliers close to me in the East Midlands.

Stefans in Northampton who I've dealt with a few times before, they have told me they have no info as yet on what's happening. I was also told by them that Tag have said the deal for exchange was stated in the small print only whilst stocks last......Apparently Stefan's have told me the TAG UK rep and Stefans aren't happy with this situation. Stefans have taken my details and have said they will contact me.

Popped in to Goldsmiths in Milton Keynes, they've just got back to me, they've been told by Tag they won't have any information until Oct 2019 if they'll be able to offer any upgrades.

Doesn't look too good ATM at all for us in the UK. Can't believe no one really know what the hell is going on. The main reason I brought the connect was for the upgrade.

Suppose it's sit tight and wait..............so much for the 3 month window.

I visited the Tag Heuer Boutique in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia hoping to upgrade my Connected 46. I was told that the existing stock of mechanical watches made for the program has been exhausted and that these would only replenished in September 2019.

This does not sound favourable I am due to go in this weekend to try and arrange my upgrade ! For those in the uk what was the scenario pay the £1000 and just wait ? Or send off watch and wait for response then pay upgrade fee etc ? Don’t particular fancy parting with £1000 for a 6/7/8/9 month wait :/

For me here in Canada... they don’t take my money until they are ready to send me the watch. And they decided to send back my Connected until such time they get stock of the replacement (whenever that may be) ⌚️

That sounds fair enough - I will pop into glasgow this weekend to arrange the upgrade hopefully it won’t take an absolute age.

Good luck, let us know how you get on ?

Went without a hitch - went into Laing’s in glasgow - they offered me 3 other “options” of watch which I politely declined - filled in the form for the exchange and handed my connected over - as expected they confirmed will be October 2019 they expect stock

I am happy enough to wait as I have a few other watches so it’s not my daily wear.

But can’t fault the service or honest of the store as they were upfront and honest with wait times.

I've been in contact with Tag, who have offered me these watches instead of waiting until October.

> The RRP of the models are as follows and we would ask for your connected watch back along with an additional £1100.00, therefore the amount would be the same as completing the connected exchange.
