Where is that strap from? Looks like it's 20mm?

It's a 20mm coated nylon NATO strap by Manufacture Jean Rousseau. They're Omega's supplier (a similar strap was supplied with the Speedmaster Apollo XI 45th Anniversary, and the Silver Snoopy strap was made of the same material) but they're an independent business so you can order straps as you like. It's a thick strap so it's a bit counter-intuitive to put it on the Autavia, but it helps the watch hug the wrist if you cinch it tight.

Thanks- I'll check it out

Good point. You ought to be careful using straps that are too narrow. When they slide from lug to lug, they can catch the spring bar and release it.....

✔️Exceptional outcome by @Calibre11
✔️Best modern Autavia rendition till date
✔️007
✔️custom strap

TNT handed it to my wife ahead of the weekend, I was on a trip on that day.
She didn't like the bracelet, which I resorted to immediately with a custom combat-strap.

To be honest, being a Carrera aficionado, I was always hesitant towards the Autavia.
But this, this is a piece of art. It is absolutely gorgeous!

Congratulations again to David for pulling this for all of us enthusiasts. It is splendid.

I saw the UAE edition in Dubai last week, and it does not compare.
This is by far the nicest Autavia available today.

To every comrade who got one, consider yourself lucky and wear in good health.

Congratulations on getting yours! If hadn't gotten #002, then yours would have been my other choice. 👍

Finally had some time to enjoy the watch.
Absolutely spot on with a perfect choice of colours, contrasts and finishes. Best modern Autavia today.

I’ll say it again - thank you to David and all involved - love it.

If he is in my country, i would gladly give him the profit and get the watch.

The custom in here is a nightmare for me to deal with.

If you are in the EU then you could always try and work something out in respect of a return to David at Calibre 11...... somehow. That way there would be no Customs tax to pay. I'm not sure he is shipping overseas though. 🤔

Looks like he's got the correct main plate - that's a shame.

Shall we bombard him with stupid questions for a laugh?

I assume anyone lucky enough to have purchased is interested in final sales price as a validation of value of newly acquired watch ( like Omega Snoopy) as well as David who created a watch that will be recognized for its great looks and value vs typical quickly depreciated timepiece. Tomorrow will be interesting...

The watch shipped from Switzerland so pretty everyone got hit with duty unless you got lucky or are from Switzerland.

It won't be the first watch to trade hands..many of these deals go on behind the scenes.

My only involvement in that deal was to give assurances on originality (i.e. that the seller had actually bought the watch) and to activate the warranty for the owner.

Good news from call11 on the delayed shipment of mine... hoping to see something in the mail next week

There have been some great first impression posts... how about a couple on how people have found the watch to wear?

It's just lucky us English are still in the EU as they have a trade agreement with the EU so no Customs or Import Duty for us EU citizens. 👍

I have been wearing mine nearly everyday on the tan Autavia strap and I have to say it's the best looking watch I have ever had and even on my relatively small wrist it sits really well. I'm looking for fabric strap so I can go swimming with it on holiday. I know, the missus thinks I am mad as well, but sick of buying and not wearing watches, so that's where I'm at. Tried the Aquaracer FC6363 strap but the blue stitching isn't 'quite' dark enough. It's a shame they didn't do a white stitched version. 🙁

Maybe I need to bite the bullet and go with a non TH strap. 🤔

There is no customs union with Switzerland so even EU citizens need to pay duties (and VAT). 🤮

This is one of the reasons I cancelled my order. I hadn't factored in the extra UK VAT I'd have to pay. 😡

I'm pretty sure the Switzerland has had a free trade agreement with the EU since 1972? I didn't pay anything accept the cost of the watch and shipping. 🤔
