..and before the White and Blue was signed off, we played around with another design. You can see the contrast between the "silver/ yellow" dial on the left, which was the same dial colour as used on the Siffert prototype shown above and the final production Siffert...much whiter!

Ummmm, the one on the left is my dream come true. Red Heuer logo!

Thanks for posting these. I’ve been dreaming to see what a Heuer dial would look like with a red logo. This just made my day.

:-( makes me feel sad a little.

Hopefully there is a good reason like ...his house burnt down and he needs the cash!!

I doubt it. The whole size of wrist/size of watch is too well worn to be the truth. he could easily have tried on a normal Autavia before committing to purchase so he is just an opportunistic flipper.

Finally got mine after nearly a week stuck in customs!

Aaannnnnnddd.. Off to the TAG service center it goes!

The minute recorder is off by about 50sec / won’t reset to zero.

Can’t wait to finally wear this in a couple months.

In my short time with the watch, I will agree that the MH bezel works a lot better than the 1-12 in person. I also like the dial a LOT more without the “HEUER 02” text.

Case is still.... trying to be gentlemanly here... not well designed. It sits proudly on top of your wrist, refusing to become a part of you. The watches I like most hug your wrist, and seemingly meld into your arm as though organic. Aesthetics aside - TAG really have not maintained Heuer’s remarkable capability to design comfortable cases

Looking good, sorry to hear about the chrono hand not resetting. Mine just came in as well and will be sure to verify that detail.

Couldn’t help but play with a couple straps, especially since the bracelet’s coming off before I drop it off for service. The dial really is very nice

Also has a nice hand-winding action - much better quality than the Sellita.

Sorry for the multiple posts, I’m having lots of feels 😵‍💫

It looks real good on the NATO! How’s your crown? Mine is quite loose not sure if it’s meant to be a slighty snug rotation before pulling it out into position.

If i may add, i think the hour subdial is also not perfectly alligned (judging from your picture). If you gonna send it, might as well inform them to double check on it as well.

Just spotted this Bamford Autavia on their instagram. Blue details, incl hour markers on black dial and quirky blue subdials. Not my flavour but the lugs and beads of rice bracelet seem to have a matt finish.

Agreed- someone more community spirited would surely have offered it via calibre11 to the waitlist or to this forum etc before hitting ebay. No bids as yet though

Look who woke up on the right side of the bed this morning 😀 I ran the chrono overnight to make sure it was working properly, and I’ve found that sometimes this can settle the alignment on vintage chronographs so figured it might work now. And it did!

Seems normal, haven’t noticed anything odd about it.

Yeah, you’re right - it’s off the 12 by a slight tick. Running the chrono overnight did not remedy this but at least the minute recorder is working now. I may hang onto it for a little while before servicing it

Nice! Glad to hear that worked. Keep us posted on the other "bug".

Is your crown easily rotatable? Almost to where it feels a little too loose?

It's easily rotatable, but feels the same as other automatic watches I own. Definitely not too loose. Is yours loose when winding, or setting the time? (Or both?)

It is fine when setting it, it just felt a little too easy when rotating in its initial position compared to my Omegas. It is probably fine and just my OCD 😀

Where is that strap from? Looks like it's 20mm?
