I have tried that...but doesn't work with my OCD senses

Fair enough, I can understand that.

You could try Combat Straps for a custom made strap. He is quite happy to make TAG Heuer style straps that are compatible with either 2mm or 3mm clasps. I was in touch with him a few years ago but didn't go ahead with an order because I couldn't settle on a design. That was my limitation, not his.

Where would I find information on the lug widths of current watches?

Would any of the 39mm glassbox Carreras or 2020 42mm Carreras have the needed width?

19mm:
Carrera 39mm H02/C5/C7 (18mm deployant)

20mm:
Carrera 41mm Calibre 5 (18mm deployant)
Carrera 41mm Calibre 7 (18mm deployant)
Formula 1 41mm (pin buckle)

21mm:
Autavia H02 (pin buckle)
Autavia Calibre 5 (pin buckle)
2021 Aquaracer (bracelet only)
General Aquaracers (Bracelet, Canvas, Rubber)
Formula 1 (pin buckle)

22mm:
Connected (18mm deployant)
Monaco (18mm deployant)
Carrera Elegant (18mm deployant)
Carrera Sport (18mm deployant)
Carrera Calibre 16 (18mm deployant)
Formula 1 43mm (pin buckle)

The only 21mm deployant I've seen is the Carbon/Titanium Aquaracers on rubber-lined nylon straps

@Nalin Thank you for that great information. I hope you didn't have to look through a bunch of TAG Heuer webpages to get it.

I continue to be astounded by how difficult it is to buy OEM straps and bracelets from the Swiss watch companies.

Look at Apple: they sell a bunch of straps and bracelets that don't vary much in size, and you can change them using simple tool-less mechanisms.

I found a potential solution. Zenith makes 42mm El Primero watches that have 21mm interhorn (lug width) distance. It's not TAG Heuer, but at least it's within LVMH. I can order the strap and clasp from my local Zenith authorized dealer. Before I do so, does anyone know if there is any obvious problem or incompatibility?

So you're going to wear a zenith strap and clasp on a TH.😗

It's cheaper so go with combat straps he can make a 21mm lugwidth strap and provide a TH style clasp:

Check his Instagram for examples of TH work

Should be no problem fitting a 21mm Zenith strap to a 21mm lug-width TAG (neither Zenith nor TAG play weird games with their spring bars like some companies do). But the clasp could probably be another story, so unless it's a pin buckle I'd see if there's any way to compare them. If your local Zenith AD also carries TAG they can probably help with that.

TAG Heuer makes 21mm leather straps with clasps. Here are two examples:
- Strap for the Green Cal 16 Formula 1 CAZ2016.FC6473 (green stitch)
- Strap for the Senna Cal 16 Formula 1 CAZ201B.FC6487 (yellow stitch)
There might be others, not sure, but that's what I'd search for if one wants 21mm OEM + Clasp.

I also believe 22mm straps can fit ok; while not perfect, I do it all the time with my 21mm lug F1. I think these two in 22mm might do nicely, both have blue stitching to match the Siffert Autavia.
- Strap for the Fangio Cal 16 Carrera CV201AT.FC6475 (light blue stitch)
- Strap for the Monaco CAW211D.FC6300 (dark blue stitch)*
*Note: The FC6300 comes with 22mm quick release spring bars. You'll have to remove these and replace with standard 21mm spring bars.

Does anyone know the part number for David's C11 Autavia? I know it's CBE2114.BA0687, but since it came with a black leather strap as well I presume it should have a number that goes CBE2114.EB****.

I understand that the black 21mm leather strap that comes with the Siffert is now available to order from TAG Heuer dealers- code FC8235. In Australia it costs A$155 for the strap alone and A$195 for the strap and buckle.

I just ordered this black calfskin strap (p/n FC8235) from TH, but it only is available with a buckle. I was told the part number with buckle is BC0925 - can anyone confirm this is correct?

For sake of completeness…

- p/n BC0915 is the camel strap with buckle, which I bought with my Autavia CBE2110.BA0687 (beads of rice bracelet). p/n FC8226 is the camel strap only I believe.

- what is the p/n for the black calfskin strap with white stitching and buckle? Strap-only p/n is FC8246 and came with CBE2118 “Viceroy” Autavia and the CBE2116 Harrods Autavia.
