··TAG Heuer Forums ModeratorFor having handled the “Viceroy-Horner” (See? I'm learning…) in real life, I can confirm that the bezel dwarfs the dial and destroys the vintage feel (At least for me).
For comparison: This looks already so much more balanced, IMHO, while still using the same base insert:
This other comparison, real photo vs real photo, is more representative of both bezels, and the difference is not as big as when compared to the render.
Aesthetically I would also prefer to have the Tachy on the bezel of my (“Horner/Dempsey”) CBE2110, but I understand that to make a faithful reinterpretation of the 1963 “Rindt” Autavia they should also keep its 1-12 bezel
