First post here. Recently bought myself a Carrera 60th anniversary and thought I would come join the party.

It’s my second TAG Heuer. My first was a late 00s Formula One chronograph with a red dial, which was a graduation present and my first “proper” watch. I’ve got a few other watches from different brands since then, but this is the first time I’ve returned to TAG.

I nearly bought the silver Carrera 160th anniversary model, but reluctantly decided against it at the time. When the panda was released I actually didn’t have a clue about it, until I noticed it online on the morning of release day. Immediately went to the website and bought one purely on impulse. Just in time, apparently!

Sorry for the unsightly scrape on my wrist; I got scratched to pieces playing rugby at the weekend.

Welcome - great to have another owner show up here. Impulse purchases are great, and as you say, good job you didn't hang around. Do you mind posting your country and number for the register (optional of course)?

Was looking through some old threads and this is why @Hubert is the KING.

Yep we can see that that post was from 3 years ago, and both of us were discussing someone's question about whether 2020 would be the year of a panda release. Consensus was we'd have to wait a bit longer!

You’ll keep seeing these for exactly two weeks - until these “business men” need to send them back to TH to get their money back (according to the EU / UK [?] mail order regulation)…
😉
