After looking at these options, I think I'd be more inclined now to try the Dan Henry BoR that @Yago fitted to his CV. Since @thingziliketoo said the Forstner fit both his Glassbox and CV, there's a good chance the Dan Henry will fit both too.

Unfortunately, @thingziliketoo has informed me that the Dan Henry doesn't fit the Glassbox correctly. So this option seems out.

Hi guys, here are a couple of pictures of the Uncle BoR. End links are hollow and will leave very slight scratches due to the movement as will daily wear on the rest of the watch. I had aftermarket solid links do the same over time. I can't wait to try it on the 60th. If you want more pictures of this bracelet and the flatlink - check out my instagram at the same handle

I think they said something about a Solargraph but to be honest I wasn't listening very closely to that bit. 😀

Saw this today. It is indeed a Solargraph, in the matte titanium case. Very cool.

There’s a couple other fun things coming 😀

Thanks Dom! Can you explain how you bent the end links to have it sit more flushed? As a novice in reworking end links, my approach would be to use pliers and start bending. Wondering if there's a better tool & technique?

I used small needle nose pliers. I suggest test fitting the end link with no bracelet. If it fits on initial install you are home free. If not - like mine - I opened up the rear and adjusted from there. You can then pivot the top piece to fit how you like. I went even further and squared off the end by the springbar to more closely match the case. Your ocd may not necessitate that. After I had the top in the place I liked, I bent the bottom back up into place to make the endlink snug. After I was happy, remove the spring bar and attach the bracelet and reinstall. Piece of cake if you take your time and are p a t i e n t ...

In this context:

I wonder whether it would be worthwhile to talk US into producing some solid BoR (?) / or Holzer (?) / or Flat Oyster (?) endlinks for the 39mm glass box case? There are a couple of thousands out there and I feel he is a bit into doing these small runs already… 👎

I have a thing for the matte sandblasted titanium, so in my book yes 😀

Really? It’s been available in the 5th Ave boutique for like 2 months now. They had them in today just like any other.

The new one, I would totally have if it weren’t quartz. Sandblasted Ti works so nicely in that 40mm size… 🥰

I’ve not seen any while window shopping this year (admittedly I spend a lot less time in cities post pandemic) and the reports on here from members who’ve spoken to dealers are ‘if you want one, we’ll see if we can order it’, which made me think there were supply issues…maybe the dealers just don’t think they’ll sell.

Solar quartz beats selita for me.

Huh. Well if anyone here wants one, try calling the 5th Ave boutique or reach out to me and I'll put you in contact.

I haven't seen one either, and I was told it was a case of 'if you want one we can order it in'.

It's funny. Post pandemic sellers seem to think having a photo of something is quite enough to make a decision to spend thousands of pounds on...

Agree. On paper I love it, but on the wrist, who knows. Blasted titanium solargraph could be a winner thou, different enough from my current watches to pull the trigger

You’re welcome sir! 👍
Found this very interesting article about the Heuer Carrera 2447 SN and I’m sure alot of you will be happy to read and learn more about it. Cheers! 📖 Click me 😉
Thanks again Kappa, I wasn't aware of this site. If the prices shown are relatively accurate, makes me feel better about spending $7400 on this baby. Sure I'd prefer a vintage original, but not will to spend that kind of money for one.

TH GVA also had one in store. So they’re out there…

But that said - you guys know in which thread you’ve been discussing this for the last page or so, right? 😉 How about starting a “TH 2023” thread in the main forum instead?

Prices aside, it’s also a size issue: Many of us will consider that 36mm for a chrono is just very small, even if its design was & is supposed to optimize legibility…
