Is there a way you can change the light to dim while charging? When it is charging in my bedroom is it quiet to much light.

Turn down the brightness and remove adaptive brightness.

The best hack I found is to put a small cloth over the watch at night… or a sticker over the bright tag logo.

Any way to change the frequency of heart rate monitoring? I feel like my E4 42mm is draining battery very fast... 53% in 8h...

As well I realized that auto brightness is very bright and hardly no changes if you reduced it with the progressbar on top.. same on others 42mm?

What i did i uses the blanket of my glasses to cover the watch at night. But it would be great if Tag Heuer find a solution to e/g change color and brIghtness during chrging. Because it is annoiing. With my apple watch a had no problem it even goes to dark after a while.

Does anyone know if you can remove all the complications on any of the watch faces, before I bought my E4 42 I thought the Classic face had a complication option of "None" but now I can't find it. If you choose "Empty" when you configure the complications it still leaves a "+" symbol which does not look good

Classic still has the "None" option, at least for E4 45.

Hi All, new here and apologies if I'm repeating old questions - I have a 4 that I am very happy with, much better than the 2 I had and the 3 I bought and returned very quickly over battery life
My question is - how can I stop my watch rebooting several times a day? I have to assume its because I am accidentally pressing and holding the crown as I go about my business, I am up to date on software etc.
Any advice welcomed, thanks

I'd guess it's an app problem. If you're on Android, can you go to settings and clean cache? Don't know how to do it on iPhone. May be uninstall, install back?

It looks like a Wear OS 3 issue, it's now gone from customer care to Switzerland

There is a fine detail to notice; you seem to have the 42mm version of the Connected and the Classic watch face has the characteristic crosshair sec. complication at 6 o'clock position. It's what the 42mm Carrera Classic mechanical watch features on its watchface. The 45mm Connected seems to have the tricompax complication design of the 44m Carrera Sport mechanical model. Looks like it may be a conscious design decision of TAG Heuer to separate the Classic Watch faces between the two sizes of the Connected. I have the 45mm version and I have the tricompax design + the ability to choose between zero, two or three complications, but none of them has the characteristic crosshair 6 o'clock style.

You may be right but I am hoping you are not, the classic face with no complications was the main reason I decided to get the watch.
You can opt to have two of the 3 dials empty, that's when you get crosshairs. This in my opinion does not look anywhere near as good as the clean design with the date

At the moment I am waiting to hear back from Switzerland

If indeed TAG Heuer has different Classic watch faces for the two different sizes of the Connected, corresponding to the two different sizes of the mechanical Carrera, this shows great attention to detail from their side. Then again, it is bizarre why they'd allow more flexibility with the complications only for the bigger size.
However if your watch really doesn't support a clean, complication-free analogue watch face, you can still download one. This forum already has links to a plethora of good quality watch faces.

Switzerland have replied and told me it was a deliberate design decision, do you know of any faces that look like this ?

Yes, on my Connected 45. In the end it was as I imagined. It's a deliberate design decision to replicate the deference between the mechanical 44mm Sport and the 42mm Classic Carrera. Still weird though, why one cannot remove the complications from the 42mm model.
