My E2 Modular 45 is working fine as always, but some E3 owners are also reporting same problem as your E4… and it seems that a factory reset solves it

    Yes exactly like the above.

This is the 6th time resetting my E4. Opened the box on 6 Jan. Not great...

Hi.Im a bit of a neat freak, and the fewer cables I have the better,so my question is does a wireless phone charger and a TAG Heuer E4 watch charger even exist in 1 unit.Have a Samsung S22 Ultra so wireless chargers for that are abundant, but does anyone know if there is just 1 charging stand that can do both at the same time.??
Im not an electrician or designer,so I dont even know if this is possible, but thought I'd ask!!
    Thanks in advance.
    Nick

The rubber on the crown of my E4 came off. Did anybody else have the same issue? I went to tag and they want to send it away for 8 weeks to get a new one put on

Only option is to send it back if you want it replaced unfortunately.

I did once and wore it for about a month and it fell off again. Has anybody else had this problem of it keep coming off?

Many E4 45 owners are having this same issue… maybe it’s better to ask four or five spare rubber crowns (replacing them yourself when next one comes off ), or adding a little of SuperGlue to avoid the issue… :whistling:

TAG Heuer should provide them free of charge to any E4 45 owner, because it is a design/quality control flaw for these crowns to fall off after a short time of wearing the watch.

Of course, rather than paying $50 for that rubber crown every time it falls off and loses again (or having to send the watch under warranty and wait several weeks for it to be returned with the same rubber crown that will fall again shortly), it's better to fix the rubber crown with some kind of glue or silicone

Just got told that WearOS is expected to roll out to e4 watches starting March 14. New Tag v2 app required from what I can tell (got an update yesterday on iOS).

You mean the lugs, buckle and strap could be usable in 20 years... not the smartwatch itself ;-)

Cant see why the smart head cannot be available to be used in 20 years if you have acquired enough spare parts etc . I’ve been acquiring as I go. Granted bluetooth may have moved on and wifi etc so it won’t be as smart as it was, but if you just want it as a watch with many faces then it should be good to go. Well I hope at least ::

That's true.... but how many people are able to change a battery in a smartwatch ? This is 0.1% of the owners.. ;-)
Now, I am still on for the pink strap ;-)

Battery change is not so difficult to be honest. Pink strap is my favourite for sure, but very hard to find and they fetch high prices. i bought the one in the pic from Italy , the full giro set.

I also have a Gen 1 from 2016 and it’s still going strong, battery still last over a day with always on display.

... additionally I noticed that the latest "watch faces" update has added some amazing detail. Some watch faces (e.g. Riverside) have a sweet animation when you select them. Also all of them make use of the crown rotation to navigate through their settings.
And best of all, most of them now retain full colour in their AOD state. Having the full detail of the watchface even with display in sleep mode is for me a game changer.
