@Anthony.R
Got your message but figured I'd post here in case anyone else had the same question.
The stand that I currently have is below

I love it and has made charging so much easier. I got it from www.artifexdesign3d.com. they don't have a listing for the new watch, but I messaged them and they set me up for the gen 3, which will be shipping next week!
I bought the 1st gen in 2016 and missed a charging stand already then. I think TH could sell a lot of them as a cool accessoire. I don't understand, why they don't build them.

All the 3rd gen connected owners, can you please update on the weight difference of stainless steel strap model with the modular 45 titanium strap model.

I guess you told them that the charging base is smaller and the connector is in a different position, right?
In that case, I will also order one. Thanks for the hint.

Yes, they already had a model made, and also offer a special USB cable so it's not sticking up in the air, I ordered both but don't know what it looks like.

I don't have exact numbers, but the new watch is significantly heavier. Feels like a proper Omega or IWC that I have also in stainless steel. I prefer the weight of the SS, but the look of TI.

Actually Stainless steel is difficult to scratch compared to Titanium and Ceramic is also known to resist scratches.
So it's good to have.

I don’t know the weight of the stainless steel strap because I have a rubber one, but regarding the modules:
Modular 45: 64g
Connected 2020: 75g

Ceramic is more scratch resistant than stainless steel and much more than titanium.

In my experience with these two watches, the TI seemed to scratch less easily. The big thing though is how easy it was to remove scratches from the TI. Cleaning up the gen 3 case and buckel is going to be difficult with it's polished and brushed surfaces. Time will tell. And your right about the ceramic. The gen 3 bezel is all ceramic, while the 45 had a ring of PVD around the bezel which did scratch.

I'm liking mine so far. I ordered the one with the black bezel and stainless steel bracelet, and also ordered the khaki rubber strap because they were out of the black ones. The rubber strap is very comfortable. This watch seems to be a huge improvement over the last model.
I'm confused about the app and faces though. It doesn't appear that we can use the faces from the old app on the new watches unless we use watchmaker?

Correct.
TAG Heuer Studio is not available for the new model, but new official faces will come in next updates.

Ok, one thing is that I am seriously considering getting a new Connected. But I must say there are so many drawbacks in comparison to the previous model. And the most incomprehensible is the omission of TAG Heuer Studio app for the new model. I'm pretty sure this has something to do with someone at TAG Heuer thinking that the previous concept of "1 to 1 digital versions of analogue watchface" was too skeuomorphic for a smartwatch. You can tell by the fact that apart from one skeuomorphic watchface (the Heuer 02), all other new watchfaces are unapologetically digital.
However as a designer I must say that, even though I agree that the old models lacked quality digital watchfaces, a round smartwatch is already in hardware skeuomorphic enough to justify the use of quality analogue-inspired digital watchfaces. It's a shame that they cancelled all other old watchfaces and the really fun-to-use Studio app.

Idk how long you have had your new watch, but battery life will get better day by day. Give it a week or 2 and see what happens. I'm currently at 68 percent and the app says 22 hours left. If only it had sleep tracking

My watch has lasted really well today. Not got screen always on and not used the sport app - charged at 11 am and still on 70%.

It was nice, but really, how many times do you use it?
I played with it during the first days, but once I chose the face I liked, I never used it again.

I switch watchfaces almost every day, even after having the watch for nearly two years.

Frankly, you can find copies of most of them from the studio app in watchmaker. It's not a terrible loss.

Gen3 looks very nice, I think it has not the strong personality of Gen2 Modular, but it looks very nice 👍

However, the way how the rubber strap meets the case was much better designed in Gen2 Modular

With Gen3, TH has done a much better work with the bracelet than with the straps
