Just found out that the new Monaco definitely does contain the Heuer 02 movement and it will cost £4800.

Also, tried to ascertain whether or not the WAY101L and WAY101K were still under embargo, but they apparently do not exist according to TAG's computer system! 😲

I only know what is available to everyone with a bit of digging, but the difference that some is confirmed, some isn’t - depending on who you talk to. Plus some good gossip on the Connected V3, but that’s for another thread 😉

Wow, the new model will have an 02, and will be £500 cheaper than the anniversary editions... I guess the important thing is to buy what you love and not worry about what may come in the future. Otherwise we'd never buy anything!

Very strange, is this another situation where new pieces become available in Sweden before UK?

Could be... but you'd still think they would be on the system.

And of course, it's actually only 36 years of the Monaco.

No that's not right either... if it stopped in '74 and came back in '98, that's 26 years!
But being out of production for 24 years is a technicality I suppose... 🙄

I think you just killed your chances of being TAG Heuer's next Promotional Director. 😉

Yeah, probably... I think I already blew that with my withering comments on the Fordbrite or whatever it was called! 😀

I am on vacation in London and I have entered the TH Boutique and they have told me that from the 69-70 series they received 5 pieces and I have told them that they all ended up in Chrono24 for sale. apart from me .... nobody buys to keep the clock?
