I was able to speak with my AD and as you know, there will be 5 models of 169 pieces each decade, and the first presentation will be at the grand prix of Monaco. In my opinion, the first one that will be released in Monaco will be the most representative, who can access one of these 169 pieces will have a very exclusive watch and in a short time its economic value can be greatly increased.
there will also be an edition of 1000 pieces of Monaco with the caliber 12
Spoke to my AD earlier this week. They will taking POs soon. There is already a model number for the piece to be released at the Monaco GP. I already told him to bill me as soon as an allocation can be secured. He is the #9 volume salesman for TH so he’s confident he can make it happen. Wish me luck

Even though the TAG Heuer Boutiques can't show you the watches yet, some have already started taking pre-orders.

I've also asked my AD (in the US) if they will get allocations; currently waiting for their response.

Well @Hubert with your track record I’m sure you’ll be able to secure an allocation. I’m expecting an update from my AD any day now as well.

Thanks! I hope you're able to secure yours too.

I still haven't received confirmation from my AD (Tourneau) as to whether they will be able to carry them. My preference is to charge it to their 0% financing payments card, hence this route.

Otherwise, I'll try to secure the model that I like the best from the 5 anniversary editions, from one of the US TAG Heuer boutiques.

Just wanted to share. This further confirms the 5 anniversary editions. Question is, what were the 5 most standout designs or features of each decade?

Here are my guesses.
A three register with no date window
A manual wind
A reversible like the Sixty Nine?
A Cal 02
A Tourbillon

Even if all of them would sure be great, the total development costs would probably be to high at those low production numbers. Even more so, if the rumors about pricing spreaded in this forum are true.

Yes, sadly I agree. If it really is only 169 of each, then it's likely to be cosmetic differences only between the 5 various models

FOMA is a terrible thing. The Internet has a lot to answer for. I don't think I have a chance of getting one of the anniversary Monacos. But I'd love to at least see what they look like.

In more ways than one!!

Like you, I am interested in seeing what they look like but am unlikely to jump on any list to acquire one.

You’re probably right. Dial and strap colors are most likely for each. Maybe even case materials (SS, DLC, and maybe even gold?). I do however believe that at least one I’ve them will house the Heuer 02 movement. It just makes sense. My AD could not confirm, but he also did not deny.

That would be amazing!

But more likely to be 5 different colour straps 😁

Was going through some of my things today and came across one of my strap boxes from 10 years ago.
Got me to thinking, do you think we might see some 50 Anniversary straps this year?

TAG has to issue a special strap, if nothing else . Surely? Despite my better judgement, I have so bought into the hype, I wonder if I can possibly snag a 50th anniversary edition...

Worst case, the straps that will come with the 5 Anniversary Editions will be different.

I wonder how many of those 40th Anniversary straps they sold. I did buy one...but the full set was north of US$2k, which is a lot when the best looking straps were the two that came included in the box!

Yes, DC you are probably right. I bought mine at I think 30 or 40% off from the Sydney Boutique maybe 12 months after they were released.
It wasn't leather, rather a synthetic carbon type material (not the one in the photo) which after keeping in storage for a few years started to disitegrate and is now in rather bad shape.
Not a great advertisement for the brand. 😵‍💫

That is poor. Which one was it? The red? I have the blue one in the middle
