You know what this shot really reminds me of:

Same kind of rake sloping back with the intake behind the driver's head lol but that's kinda cool too

Maybe they should have mentioned that Rolex are the "official timekeeper" in name only. They provide zero equipment and do not time any of the races. I would have thought that was worth mentioning! I know this because I called the company that do the timing....they're not allowed to actively promote what they do to protect the likes of Rolex.

Rumour is after Dani Kvyatt's massive Russian Grand Prix mess, Max Verstappen could potentially be elevated to RedBull-TAG Heuer immediately with the Russian being demoted back to Toro Rosso.

Big call, but Helmut Marko clearly doesn't tolerate failure and young Max has shown some serious potential, I'm just hoping he's not good enough to beat Danny Ric any time soon.

Red Bull obviously have a problem with working out how to keep all their drivers, given they have to do something with Verstappen to keep him away from Ferrari. Their record at managing drivers, especially the young guys from the Academy, has been pretty poor. Although, none of them (Liuzzi, Speed, Vergne) has gone on to better things, so maybe they're just ruthless.

I reckon Kvyatt has a hell of a lot of potential and has delivered good results- he outscored D. Ricc last year and was a good match for pace.

Still, he's young enough to get a second chance

If it happens I think it'll be a result of Helmut Marko just being absolutely filthy with him and possibly some previous bad interactions between them. Although he's very good Danny Ric has the race wins and 2015 was a bust on reliability grounds, he's also more marketable as a person while Danni K is a bit less affable. If Marko had already given him the shape up or ship out warning previously and he hadn't been willing to eat humble pie from the Austrian there could already be some serious friction there prior to Russia.

From testing it sounded like it had delivered everything they had expected it to which should be 0.5s apparently, Danny Ric was only 0.680 off Lewis's pole time and 0.400 off Nico's P2 in Spain, and the streets of Monaco being more like Spain sector 3, this could be advantage Redbull for the first time since 2013.

Looks like they're planning on Danny Ric & K-Mag using the new upgraded power unit in Monaco with Max & Jo Palmer continuing with the old.

Good news for Danny, he could have the measure of the Mercs on real pace terms around Monte Carlo. Power improvement is said to be 30PS over the old engine with improved drivability.
