On another note, I saw the 2000’s version in the watchfinder sale at £5.5k. Was very tempted but by the time I’d talked myself more or less into it it had gone.
I know it’s not the favourite one, but I quite liked it.

·Thanks, gents. It’s a fun piece, and to my eyes, the shades of green shift between forest green to lighter olive tones depending on the lighting.

Thanks, Jim! I have three. I was always drawn to the green Carrera Sport as well as the 160 Anniversary limited edition Carrera Sports (white and blue).
I am hoping they introduce new references at some point, but I figure I’ll be waiting a while.
