2017-TAG-Heuer-Aquaracer-GMT-Calibre-7-11.jpg

Hopefully it turns up this week

Very nice choice sir! Im considering Aqu
Yeah that silver one is okay, but I really like the black case and the sand/grey colour scheme, here's a pic of it on a black rubber strap (obviously I would get the TAG strap)...

Wow, its like a brand new watch on a black strap! Looks awesome

This is the seamaster i would go for...

Agree about it being a solid and well built. I just wish they removed the valve button slash crown or something on 11 o clock.

What is that one called @OttoWilliam? The red looks good on there.

Yeah that really doesn't help... is there a chrono version of this, maybe that's the one I keep seeing at the outlets, because they sell for about £2000 (from a list of £4000). Actually, yeah they are chronos because they are Calibre 16. I don't like either of them. The bezel is horrible and the whole thing looks cheap and nasty, definitely doesn't look like a £4000 watch.

So when you look at that and that Calibre 18 link, the Heuer01 Carrera looks such good value for money.

Agreed, £4k is nuts, but I often think that TH pricing is a but nuts. For sub £2k, it's an awesome watch 😀 I love the black with the overdone lume, it wears well with a hoodie or t-shirt. The 01 is really good value compared to most of the rest of the range, I particularly like the 43mm version that David reviewed earlier this year. Not made it to the top of my list thou, it's probably 5th, maybe.

Sorry for drifting so far off topic, here is my current wishlist, in no particular order:
Drivetimer
Connected mechanical exchange watch
Heuer 1000
New Autavia (when they release one without the horrible divers bezel)
Carrera twin time
Heuer-01 43mm

AKA, a Helium Escape valve.

I wonder what proportion of Seamaster owners have ever had cause to use the Helium Escape valve. I'm guessing it's a very low number 😀

Probably about the same number that have used the helium valve on their aquaracer.

Its the planetocean 600m. Rather big size though.

That is why i think AR without helium valve is a better looking watch altogether.

On different story. My friend bought aquatimer IWC bronze. And the shop keeper asked him.

Shopkeeper😁o you really use your watch for diving ?
My friend:No. Not really. Why ?
Shopkeeper: Because if you do, we need to do something about the valve first.
My friend:..............

Well anyway he bought it and he liked it. That whats count in the end.

In fairness, I've never used a chronograph to time a lap round Silverstone either.........

I have a Helium valve on my Aquagraph. That watch has never been wet, period.

Isn't that something to do with that company that made the watch out of cheese... Bucherer?
