I could feel the recent increase of demand for this Aquaracer GMT

 

I really wish it had a black ceramic bezel like the other aquaracers. The aluminium bezel is far too soft and I'm not a fan of the Pepsi coloring.

 

I dont mind the pepsi. But prefer the batman so much more.

 

I'm seriously considering this, especially as Iconic are offering it for £1685!

 

Good choice. Can never go wrong. Just dont chisel the cyclops later.

 

If it didn't have the cyclops I think I would have already ordered it... also it needs a rubber strap. A Blog to Watch put it on a black rubber strap and it looked great!

I really fancy one of those, will probably get one when I see one in an outlet. If it was gmt I'd buy it now, but it's just too similar to my other aquaracer to justify really and there's a lot of carrrras I like too

 

Yeah that silver one is okay, but I really like the black case and the sand/grey colour scheme, here's a pic of it on a black rubber strap (obviously I would get the TAG strap)...

Respectfully, i seriously think that current aquaracer is a better looking watch than omega seamaster.

But that of course exclude the talk of the movement, material, etc.

I'll be dead if i am writing this at omega forum but my judgement really come unbiased. I even asked several of my friend who owns omega.

 

Yeah, in there, "respectfully" will not help me at all !

I might already buy seamaster if it wasnt for the current model of the aquaracer. It just the current aquaracer more of my style.

 

There's something about the one on the right, I see them at the outlets all the time and I just don't like them. The one on the left is nice though.

 

The current aquaracer is the best looking so far, the styling has really come together (action man version excepted).

The sea master deep black is very special thou Id buy one in a heartbeat if they weren't 8.5k....I could buy at least half the tags I want for that!

It's the wrong side date and cyclops I don't like, but I really like the rubber/metal bezel because it's so different. The one on the left is a nice evolution, other than David's review I've never seen one of them.

 

Anyone here prefer the chronograph aquaracer than the three hander one ?

 

Yeah that really doesn't help... is there a chrono version of this, maybe that's the one I keep seeing at the outlets, because they sell for about £2000 (from a list of £4000). Actually, yeah they are chronos because they are Calibre 16. I don't like either of them. The bezel is horrible and the whole thing looks cheap and nasty, definitely doesn't look like a £4000 watch.

So when you look at that and that Calibre 18 link, the Heuer01 Carrera looks such good value for money.

 

I think the Seamasters are looking a little dated these days, but they are incredibly solid and well-built watches. The only one that tempts me though is the 39mm Planet Ocean in blue.

 

I'm really not an Omega fan at all, but that is pretty cool.
