Why is the dial upside down? 馃檭
It鈥檚 a nurses fob watch. It鈥檚 designed to be hung from clothing and viewed from above.

We went to the District Time watch show in DC yesterday. It was a good show, lots of brands crammed into a smallish space. Mostly microbrands, but a few larger brands like Christopher Ward, Doxa and Fears. A lot of brands I hadn't even heard of before. My wife enjoyed the show too, but was disappointed there were so few smaller sizes -- she likes 36mm and smaller.

Hadn't actually planned to buy anything, but Tsao Baltimore had a surprise on their display bench -- I had looked at this particular model before online, but they were completely sold out before I had even heard of this company .... or were they? 馃槻
Well, it turns out this one was buried in their travel trailer, which they found when they organized the trailer to go to the show. They put it on display with a bunch of their other products. When we got there, a couple of other people were looking at it, and it took quite a bit of restraint to wait patiently until they put it down -- when they (finally) did, I snatched it up, gave it a quick once-over and handed over my credit card. 馃榿

Specs are nice -- titanium case and bracelet with hard coating, micro-adjust clasp, sapphire crystal and case back, Miyota 9015 movement regulated to +- 5 spd, a PVD coated meteorite dial (I'm a sucker for meteorite dials!) and an extra strap. Of this general design, they only made 50 of each colorway; this one is #49 of 50, and the very last one sold. And, they're local, just a few miles from where I work.

Picked up a Monza that needs a little TLC.

Bought it as 'non-running' but it showed up ticking happily away. I think maybe the chrono may have issues; I'll try running it later.

Came on a terrible rubber strap with the strangest spring bars I've ever seen:

Fortunately looks like they're normal underneath.

Edit: Ah yes, it isn't keeping time. Yet the running seconds and chronograph seem to run just fine. Never experienced that before, but no matter
