Spend a bit of time in my local emporium today and very nearly pulled the trigger on one of these. In the end it did not get the heartbeat going enough to engage the bank card. Anyone have one? Any thoughts?
My first real watch was similar to this one. I don't know how much you need to pay for this one but back then Breitling was still not so overpriced (in my opinion). Nowadays if i go to any Breitling counter and asked about their price, i backed away immediately. But hey, if you like the navitimer i guess there's no substitute for it. Unless you considering Sinn...which for that type of Sinn is also consider expensive among other Sinn model. Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps. Cheers

You guys are making me want an Aquaracer GMT, but I've just bought an old F1 chrono, so it will have to wait.

Which Aquaracer GMT, the latest one or the older one ? I am really digging this Aquaracer line that i want to add probably one or two more into the collection

The new one with the red/blue bezel. I think I've got over my cyclophobia now....

Weeeeeell... I'd go for the TAG Heuer Pilot. You can get a mint one for about £12-1600.

I think it's a very good option, and i am not being bias here.

My only complaints is that "why i didn't get this sooner, what was i thinking before?"

I think i like it with the cyclops to be honest, for this current design. I've seen one that being chipped out of the cyclops it just doesn't feel the same. I like it less that way.

I find the cyclops makes it harder to read the date... but then I have incredibly good eyesight for a 49 year old!

A few months ago I was about to buy this one at retail price, but decided to wait.. and now i can buy it with a USD1.000 discount (40% off), It is an official Tag Heuer boutique placed on an outlet mall. Twice a year they offer me (as a frequent customer) discounts on watches of the current lineup . Of course they are brand new with the TH 2 year warranty. Sounds tricky but it’s true, this time the discount is 40% but sometimes it rise to 50%!!!!..

I do have a "new" watch on its way...new to me that is. A blue Silverstone re-edition. I remember seeing this watch being launched 9 years ago when I tried one on...I haven't seen one in person since!

Excellent choice. I have the 41mm from a few years back - possibly the most accurate watch I own and looks great on the strap or bracelet.

Jesus, how come the American outlets have current models like the Link and the Polar Aquaracer? We Brits get stuff that's 5+ years old!
