here is my current wishlist, in no particular order:
Drivetimer
Connected mechanical exchange watch
Heuer 1000
New Autavia (when they release one without the horrible divers bezel)
Carrera twin time
Heuer-01 43mm

I thought it was time to revisit my wishlist, I still want some of the above:
Drivetimer
Heuer 1000

The Heuer 01 has been crossed off in favour of the new skeleton heuer 02, the mechanical exchange watch has been replaced with a modular 41 mechanical, the autavia is off the list and the twin time is pretty low down.

I have got a few new additions to the list:

I came very very close to pulling the trigger on this, may yet take it:

I had no ideas these existed, but fell in love with it when I tried it on at Goodwood Members Meeting this year:

I've got one of these preorderd (despite the aluminium bezel), after trying on a regular Black Bay and a gmt master II I decided its much better proportioned than the rolex:

Im also tempted to buy one of these as a summer watch:

Nice list. I am also waiting for the new Heuer 02 Carrera. The one I want is the phantom in carbon.

I want an S/EL.

Probably gold or two tone, and 42mm if possible.

I've said before that skeletonised dials are not really my cup of beverage, but if I'd go for something this would be the reference of choice for me!

Between those 4. I prefer tudor GMT the most. Just my 2 cents.

Interesting feedback Otto, based on the pictures it's my favourite too. I'm really hoping it is as good on the wrist as it is in the pictures!

The omega was a real surprise, I was chatting to my AD about my next purchase and he was suggesting a few watches to try, he handed me the omega and said "see if you like this". I loved it, despite having dismissed it while shopping in the omega store in Rome a couple of months earlier. But....I've spent the money on something else, so no omega for me!

That Omega is not bad, but after i see the bezel of the current Aquaracer, that Omega bezel seems..."under worked" for the price they are charging (if that make sense). Again just my opinion. No offense to anyone loving good Omega.

My friend already put deposit in that Tudor. He keep asking me to do the same. I was thinking about it. But i will always wonder what if they made the bronze version then i'll be kicking myself. Because i want bronze one with that bezel combination.

We're coming into winter here and I'm finding that a lot of my jackets have something on the sleeve that can scratch up my watches (e.g. back of a stud). I probably should just get some material sewn in, but contemplating a 'basher' watch for these days. I was contemplating either an Aquaracer, or a Sinn 358 Sa Pilot. Any other suggestions? I did once have a soft spot for the Seiko Astron as well, although unsure if the GPS sync will work in Oz.

I would love an Astron. It syncs with satellite signals, so you should be ok.
Mind you, these are huge watches...

I don't mind big watches even though my wrist is average (Connected 45 I'm well used to now), I just heard the satellites aren't in the best position for Australia in terms of Remote Control watch sync. Then again that's not a biggy, I love the depth of the face, the density and textures with the dials etc. There's a lot going on but it all meshes nicely. It feels more utilitarian than the others, i.e. wouldn't look out of place with a few usage marks here and there...!

If you want something scratch resistant and super badass for winter I would definitely get something from Sinn with tegiment treatment. Met with some watchmakers of Sinn at a fair and they challenged visitors to scratch a tegimented case with a screwdriver, no one of us could do it so I was really impressed!

I fell in love with the 836

Of the three, my favourite by far is the Sinn, really good. The aquaracer is my least favourite, but will be very tough. I think the aquaracer chronos look best with ceramic bezel, the steel really only works on the simpler quartz watches

I recently super infatuated by this phantom aquaracer for the 2nd time. So much so that i went back to store and asked.

Only this time the discount is far smaller and feels like no special offer for me. So i didnt pull the trigger
