Aren't these quite heavy? Wooden chassis? I would get a Caterham or a Lotus personally.

Very different cars, Morgan is more of a GT, caterham is more like a four wheeled motorbike. I could do a Morgan, at least for a couple of weeks, got a caterham in the barn currently and have no inclination to drive it, maybe I’m getting old?

Maybe should just do this. IMG_0126.jpeg

Get the wooden one. Have you done a factory tour? If not, it’s definitely worth it if you’re ever near Malvern, although it will answer the question of wether you should buy one!

Let an early model slip through my hands circa 18 years ago, the offer to buy from a Morgan dealer giving a decent profit was too much to refuse, maybe I should wait till I grow out of the ‘boy racer’ mode?

Saving in vain for a perpetual, amount is growing but then I see another I want instead and of course it’s more expensive, like a dog chasing it’s tail, close but no cigar.

Given the way prices have been going up it would be cheaper to buy on credit....

Was about to pay for the new kitchen when they offered me 5 years interest free, in like a whippet at a fish supper, also helped my credit score apparantly.

Waiting on this well worn Pasadena right now. Another plunge into the vintage wormhole, but oh WTH, why not?! :coffee:

Merci dude.

Will complete my 3 watch collection. Prefer it over it's more expensive brother, sans cyclops & PCLs. Plus the newer OPs wear very small. New Carrera's 36 look nice but have a date

Thanks! Yes, it'll be my first from the formerly winged-B. I'll post some pics when I receive it. It has a manual movement and a plexiglass, so it should be epic.
