Very nice homage!

If all goes well, I may be getting a 6263 very soon! Been on my want list for years, and I am also thinking it may provide some benefit as a hedge against inflation for some of my savings -- who knows?!.

Can't quite decide between Panda and reverse panda though!

I am leaning to reverse panda, but currently that requires me to fork out quite a bit more, whereas I have identified a panda in my current price range. The impatient part of me leads me to want to get the panda, purely because it avoids a further wait!

I would be interested to hear everyone's preference of the two.

Based purely on looks, I always gravitate towards reverse pandas. But because I have so many black dials in my collection, I would want to add a panda. Having said that, for this particular grail watch, I'd be over the moon to have either. Get the one that makes you happiest! 😀

I too have always gravitated to reverse pandas, and I think it would make me the happiest in the long term. However, my bank balance would be happiest with the panda (based on the example I have tracked down)! 😵‍💫

Although I said I prefer the panda, I don't think you should settle. Save up a bit longer, or don't buy at all, but don't get something that isn't quite as good as what you really want.

Probably the nicest Daytona ever. People going crazy over the Newman but this to me defines the range.

Good point, although was more a Street Fighter fan growing up then FIFA

The Hublot not my cup of tea (or price point)

But the Seiko Street Fighter series more fun

Seems like a lot of watch for the money, might as well be priced 2k more. Good size, first Nomos bracelet I see that I dont dislike. Interesting proposition indeed

From what I have read Nomos has made a thing about making the lugs too long. Like annoying people with it becomes a trademark of the brand

Yep super long, and makes the gap seem huge on straps which is a big bug bare for me. Least this bracelet version stops that. Still bloody long mind you!

Flu & Covid booster in town earlier, popped into the local AD, more to look at the 'Grey Man' Carrera (as noted in the other thread). Couldn't help but also try on the other 2 that I want.

Impressed with it, price and looks, also helped the gf likes it! Could be a nice 1 2 punch with the BB58.

Still bloody love this though (not helped by the RRP or GF hating it)

Oddly prefer the Speedy on this strap than the massive tapered bracelet.

you could be right! But to my eyes it doesn’t look like it. Maybe 20-18/16. Think the bracelet is 20-16/14.

If there's a choice I always opt to buy it on the bracelet and order a custom strap, the OEM straps a too expensive and boring IMHO.
