Not sure what the next purchase will actually be, but the list of wants is:

- Monaco Gulf (CW211A)
- Carrera Calibre 36 (black titanium)

It turned out to be the Carrera Calibre 36 Racing 😀.

For those of you who love thin watches, this one sets a new record.

I would never wear that, but I think it's fantastic.

The black zenith looks good too

I read about that. Crazy thin!!!
Yes, it's unbelievable. "Thin" is a big trend this year.

Indeed, those Zeniths are very desirable.

Tried this on this morning - PO 43.5mm. Surprisingly good fit and deep black dial. I prefer the all black version but the orange accented one was all they had in stock.

Orange one is not bad but i like the red one better. Not enough to have me pull the trigger though

Classic, elegant and simple to read. A true Carrera.
Yeah but i asked for the AD to sent me picture via Whatsapp and it wasn't as nice as the one on instagram though. Lol.

I promise them i will go there to see in steel. Will update in this thread once available.

A very good deal has come up on a brand new WV5111 which has got me thinking as I have only one real dress watch. Around or just under $2k (€1600) for it..... 😕

Then there’s the Calibre 11 collaboration watch on its way 🥱

Get both. But prioritize on the calibre11collaboration as it is limited as to compare to the calibre6. Full disclosure: i am not a endorser nor provocateur at any level.

Is the WV5111 great value at under $2k as brand new? Or just a resonable price and what it should have been priced at from new do you think?

It’s not one I had looked at before to be honest, but when it popped up it got me thinking.

The Calibre 11 collaboration may be a little too rich considering I’ve just spent the price of a new Submariner on brakes and tyres for the car 😡

I can't be sure what good price is. But i can tell you i got it at 2.296 usd. Even that seems a good price for me back then. Brand new, of course.

Hope it can help with your decision making in some ways. I still think anyone who got the chance to buy the calibre11 collaboration should definitely pull the trigger. That is of course if they like the watch in the first place though.

Under 2K brand new is excellent value.
I am tempted by an old stock at the local dealer, but I have a small issue with non-chronograph Carreras.

Yes, it's a very tempting price indeed. Almost a no-brainer in fact. However, I also have the same issue as you, elbeik, with that watch.

I've been thinking about a Grand Carrera but on the other hand, I'm kind of coming around to the idea of the CAL5113 again

I feel a little bit the same on the chrono front, but the price has me thinking seriously about it.
