Btw, look at this beautiful calibre 6 solid gold with guilloche dial.

Too bad i have the steel one

They are offering 50% discount on this one. But its still expensive. Noble metal alert.

Okay so, i went to the Tag Heuer Boutique yesterday. The main purpose is to see the calibre 5 link. They only have the black dial at that time. What can i say ? It doesn't really speak to me. Before i held one in steel i thought to myself that is something i could be wearing. But when i actually held it...it just felt normal on the borderline to boring. I don't know if the white dial will be better. For now, i'll skip this one though.

The switch between Carrera and Link is difficult.

It's not a mandatory if you are not 100% convinced.

I think i want this more than IWC portugesier...

I did a watch making class with the legend that is Kurt Klaus of IWC the other week and so would personally lean towards the IWC.

So lucky. I've been looking for one around my area. None. There was this one time Tag sent one of the technical guy to explain about movement and swiss watch making, etc but i can't join due to schedule 😡

Did you finish you own watch in the class ?
Please share some pictures if you do create your own watch.

it’s cool but i like the defy series more
Given the choice, I would probably pick that too over this, but it would definitely be a hard pick.

love the tropical look
Yeah; the overall rugged / aged finish is quite charming.

Anybody else besides me, in love with this new flyback?

Yes! Much more than the old carrera flyback, the registers are much better proportioned.

It's a watch I would need to try on before buying, I've been looking at a black bay bronze for ages, tried one on and felt nothing for it.

Yes, I would love to see one in the metal. This may actually be one of the watches that will be hard to resist once on the wrist!

For those of you who may not have liked the bronzed look of the new Zenith flyback, then you are in luck, as they also will offer an aged steel version.

For those of you who love thin watches, this one sets a new record.

I read about that. Crazy thin!!!
