It's nice on either bracelet or strap, but kind of boring to me. I find it most interesting on the fabric strap.
Yeah, I wasn’t a fan of the look on bracelet at all. Of the 2 I saw, the hybrid rubber was far nicer, and I like tudors straps also. If I was to get one (not that likely), it’s be one of the 2 non bracelet options.

the bracelet is quite thick also, which for me was a little out of kilter with the vintage vibe of the watch - I was expecting a jangly rattle bag of a bracelet. I suspect this would look good with a straight ended vintage type bracelet.

For me, my next piece will be maroon. Paid in full. The wait continues.

Ranger isn't doing much for me I'm afraid. But then I do have a 36mm Explorer already.

To me the ranger is a nice interpretation of the classic explorers. If they still made a 39mm explorer, there is no question, I would buy that over the ranger, but the 36mm explorer felt tiny when I tried it the other week (admittedly when I was daily wearing a 43mm AR). I’m thinking I need to wear my bb38 into an AD and try both the ranger and explorer.

So far, I’m still loving the ranger…be interesting to see if this is one I love in the metal too.

I’d need to see the ranger for real. Whenever the vontage reissues are done, the quality of the dial and handset make a big difference. Sometimes it can just look weirdly sterile, sometime genuinely works as a ‘new old’ look

I have heard rumours of maroon things.... but not yet seen a picture.

New video from Bark & Jack on the Ranger. Adrian addresses both of the above points and praises the watch.
I know the Explorer has a large fan base, but it doesn't include me. I think the Explorer is plain and boring too. I appreciate it for what it is, but have no desire to own one. But for anyone who's into this type of simple clean look, I think the new Ranger will check that box nicely.

Tudor really is the Rolex for the man who finds the Rolex too damn blingy isn't it. I thought the Rolex Explorer was on the plain side, but this takes the Rich Tea biscuit.

What I have found out about the Ranger is that the bracelet (with no faux rivets and an adjustable clasp) will apparently fit the BB58!

I’ve heard that also. Same case I believe. But the Ranger bracelet is brushed sides so won’t match the BB58 case. Interesting to see if the clasp can be purchased and retro fitted mind you.

I don’t think there’s been a picture yet. Bear in mind that Tudor purposely designed the pro bracelet so it wouldn’t fit the 58. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve done it here also.

they made the centre link of the pro bracelet a smidge too wide to fit the 58 end links.

I'm not too excited about the new Tudor Ranger. The BB Pro & Pelagos FXD are still of greater interest to me. But I passed on both in order to fund my Omega NTTD.

For the money, my head kept saying the FXD is the better buy over Omega NTTD, but the heart wants what the heart wants...

That’s exactly how I feel about the Speedmaster/ Monaco debate I keep having internally.

Was the Soeedy up until yesterday where I went to bed and decided Monaco again!

Decided I’ll have both in my collection at same point. Currently Monaco after Christmas & Speedy for my 40th in a few years. (Well that’s the plan currently).

Think I actually prefer the faux rivets.
It’s the clasp I’m interested in. Although doesn’t look as pleasing to the eye as the standard one with shield silhouette.
Me too. I wonder if there's a way to just buy the clasp, probably not.

I actually want the Ranger's fabric strap, I think it will look great on my BB58. I've asked my AD if they can get the strap for me.

I really like the new Ranger. Always been a big fan of the 1016 Explorer - not comparable, I know, but the vibe they both give off is similar.

I used to own a BB41 but eventually sold it because I couldn’t get on with how big and flat it wore on my wrist. 39 should be the sweet spot I think…

I’ve always liked the look of the old Tudor oyster prince explorer. But there are loads of Frankenstein versions which put me off. Good alternative to the 1016. The ranger appeals to this vibe more than the modern explorer I think
