The mouse makes another appearance here, WG1113 in an even smaller size 👎. Original issue price of $1,250 is amazing. Currently $305 at auction
Wow it’s amazing peace like these ones.
Congrats.

I answered "Yes" to both.
The Mickey diver is on it's way to me. I just wanted to offer it here first in case a fellow forum member might want it more than myself. It's a li'l too small and will see very limited wrist time on me. I was inspired by Sir Snowy's post about a similar one.

Wow, what a gentleman you are. Congratulations on your purchase I really hope the battery situation is okay. If I lived in the US I probably would have risked it, but taxes to the UK are high. Also thanks for sharing the SEL.

I find that hard to believe. WG1213 would be 34mm surely?

Just noticed that the box says WG1112 but the watch says WG1113.

As if this wasn't already confusing, the seller had listed this as "Rare Mickey Mouse Tag Heuer Sel WG1222 Professional 200 Meters". BTW this sold for US$710

After a battery replacement and having the included links installed Mickey is happy to see the time fly again.

I love the simulated link feature of the clasp too, pretty cool

This caught my eye on eBay Italy, then read the automatic translation and laughed.

In 2022 I'll probably shake a few more watches I don't wear that much and focus on a few 'affordable' grails, if that makes sense. No dark lords or golden 1158 Carreras but a sub 5513 maxi has long been on my list and I'm circling one at the moment. Apart from that a cool vintage dress watch would be a nice addition. 18k solid yellow gold sounds about right.
Of all my 2021 purchases none had the top spot on my list as they were deemed too expensive or I was hunting something specific. I love and hate how this hobby throws opportunities at you that you simply can't pass up.
This year I started to appreciate (a very small fraction of) '90s TAG Heuer. Rob's endless stream of these watches finally struck a chord with me. I bought two series 2000, they didn't break the bank and especially the blue one I enjoy wearing very much. I don't expect I'll be going any further down that rabbit hole but who knows what the fedex guy turns up with.
