Of the two, I prefer the looks of the Tudor.
I would also keep the BB and maybe sell the sub to an interested forum member 😁

There's one on US eBay, with Mickey's approval too. Looks like it's only missing the receipt, a pretty complete package. Listed as 43mm so that's obviously a mistake otherwise this would be mine.

Ooooh, thanks HP. Does not send to the UK and needs battery (eBay code for old battery been in there since 2001). Did not know they made one with Mickey on...

Strange, link doesn't work here. I actually like the Mickey on the dial 🙄

@Mspeedster : you are right: it is the BB 41mm.
for story:
My wife had made a reservation 6 months ago for a 'sub'. gift for my birthday. even though she didn't know which year would be the right one 🙁. Waiting list. no money deposited. trust in the seller.
she received a call from the seller telling her that a withdrawal made that a sub was going to be available. Within 3/4 months.
it was good.😀
then this email (see above) arrived 🙁:
"sorry, but we can no longer provide you. there is more than 2 years of waiting ...etc..
I could have waited, it was not a problem. I have other watches but I had the impression that another person had been more important and had passed in front of me 🙁. I may be wrong ... I will not know and I do not want to know. it just pissed me off.
I am a customer of this AD and I have always been satisfied with them. and finally, vendors and service.
now the policy of the store management !! 😕 who knows !!!. 🤨
in summary: I spoke with the seller. a long time about this SUB ..
he introduced 😁me to the TUDOR .. and finally I succumbed to the charms of this watch ... 🥰
he did his job well .. 👍
and I'm happy ...
if ever one sub was to appear in a while ... if I'm still alive ... 🙄 then I'll advise 😁

That’s a pretty disappointing experience, it’s stuff like this that puts me off ever trying to buy a Rolex.

Personally I far prefer the black bay to the current sub, the maxi case is horrible compared to the previous version that @Mspeedster posted. If I was buying it would be a 39mm explorer

I think the latest generation sub has improved over the previous one. It's no longer the maxi case but it's still larger when compared to that of @Mspeedster which I believe is the 14060M, the last of the classic subs.

The other eBay code is ‘just needs a battery to go’ meaning it’s not working otherwise I would have fitted one and bumped the price up.

It sold last night for £500...
Yeah well who knows where the bidding would’ve ended had you participated… right?

Yeah, plus I would have had to pay import taxes. He replied the battery had run down 'this year'. So presumably Jan 1st.

I answered "Yes" to both.
The Mickey diver is on it's way to me. I just wanted to offer it here first in case a fellow forum member might want it more than myself. It's a li'l too small and will see very limited wrist time on me. I was inspired by Sir Snowy's post about a similar one.

The mouse makes another appearance here, WG1113 in an even smaller size 👎. Original issue price of $1,250 is amazing. Currently $305 at auction
