I’m considering a new purchase as I have a bit of money to commemorate a long service award. I’d have to put my own money to it, but considering options in the sub 3k price bracket.
I have to say it’s hard to displace Tudor in terms of s propositionin this price bracket…. Really hard
Can only tell you that now when I finally have a Tudor, I am wondering why I didn't buy one a long time ago. Amazing value for money and a wonderful experience on wrist
Not to mention the movement. My BB58 is the most accurate watch I own, along with my Rolex Sub ref 14060m. Both are less than +1 sec/day. The Rolex technology in the Tudor movement is quite evident to me, as the distinctive sound is exactly the same when I put them next to my ear.
Yup mine is running isch +1 sec per day.
Worth mentioning too though with many complaining or expressing concerns about the H02, mine runs about 1,5+ per day so I am very happy with that too. Dont need Rolex tech to run well 😁
My H02 is all over the place; sometimes seems fairly accurate at perhaps < +3secs/day and at other times seems more like +12secs/day. I guess the average is around +6 secs.
Interestingly, my most accurate mechanical TAG Heuer is my 90s Monaco with a Selitta movement. It's much better compared to my C12 Monaco Gulf or C11 McQueen.
Sometimes it's just the luck of the draw with TAG Heuer. But from what I've seen of Rolex/Tudor, the accuracy results are more consistent.
That's ridiculous.

Just back from an evening of watch browsing.
I was quite surprised that the Rolex AD had quite a few pieces to show. But these were not for sale. Rolex is now supplying ADs with "Exhibition Only" watches, since I suppose it looks bad that their display cases are always empty. These pieces can not be sold, as the movements are rendered inoperable by Rolex. The sales guy told me that even their master tech can't get them to work, it requires some "magic" part that only Rolex can supply. 🙄
The JLC Polaris keeps grabbing my attention, though I'd probably opt for something from Omega, given the price of the JLC. 😗
Last but not least, I got to see the new Night Diver Aquaracer. I really liked it. 😎 But I feel it's just a tad too big for my wrist's comfort zone. 😒
Night diver looks so sharp. Did you find that the rubber makes it wear bigger? It does look as if the shape of the strap extends the lug width quite a bit
My most accurate Tag is the Monza Calibre 17.
It's running at +1sec a day. Crazy good.
