I prefer milk or caramel chocolate (Hotel Chocolat, not that Caramac crap)... but there is a kind of snobby thing about chocolate. It's very much like watches I find, white chocolate is the quartz equivalent, milk is the mecha-quartz or high end quartz which receives grudging respect and then the higher the percentage is the more you move up through the auto, to hand wound, to tourbillon to perpetual calendar...

A guy from the car club has a chocolate shop on Arran, no Porsche but a Ferrari was the last car I saw him in, he has a picture of him with Prince Albert in the shop, thought he recognised him initially but when the flunky stepped in to pay for his purchases the penny dropped!
Another interesting read from our friend in Belgium ( wedding congrats ) and his collection additions, maybe we need a ‘Tales from the chocolate shop’ post about strange requests or goings on?

I always look forward to reading the COCO scores and comments.

"Due to the fact that I always ask TH to be different,( which they have done with colour) and the glass box Carrera is so popular I would have to give this a 8/10. Again 39mm is too small for my wrists so it leaves me out but a 25 year ago me would say yes, yes , yes."
It's funny because 10 years ago (when I was in my 40s) I felt that 39mm was a little small. But since then I've lost 35 pounds via a healthy diet & focused fitness. Now well into my 50s, I've returned to the same weight as I was in my 20s, as did my wrist size and so 39mm is perfect. But the downside is anything over 42mm is usually too big. LOL

But not strong enough; currently fifth in the 2021 standings, behind the 844, the Dato, the Orange F1 and the green Monaco...

You guys would never guess what is sixth. I imagine you have all forgotten it was even released.

Nope.
Well, it can't be the blue Carrera with the red accents LE or the blue H02T Carrera Sport, or could it? Outside of these Carreras, nothing else comes to my mind.

The 844 looking mightily strong 👍 Always wanted one since I don’t have a three hand Aquaracer (which it should be?) 😗😗

I’m a bit of a sucker for chronographs 😁😜

It's the blue tourbillon...
That is surprising. I would've thought the Porsche or Bahrain would be placed higher than that one.

Yes it did. But don't worry, at the end of the year there'll be a chance to correct the scores, and to slap down that pesky quartz F1 no doubt...

It will be interesting to see how the end of year scores compare. Some watches grow on you, while others might lose some luster.

I think the end of year scores will be quite different. Already I am liking the 844 a lot more than I did upon first reveal. Dato same thing.

Glad to hear you guys are on board with a total rescore. And a separate WOTY vote obviously
