Believe me, I was as surprised as anyone! But like I said, I just think red and black is a winning look, even not withstanding the fauxtina.
I love fauxtina. The best thing about fauxtina is the really strong glow. Take Monza for example. Crazy glow. Like a diver. Even more than some diver (longines legend diver i am looking at you )
I have nothing against fauxtina if it enhances the look of the watch. It's simply a color choice, do you like white or beige? Furthermore, at my age, I'll be dead by the time any of my new watches develop true patina.
Yup no issues with fauxtina to me either. It’s just beige to me, not fake patina. Only watch nerds care about this 99% of the people, it doesn’t matter as long as it looks good PS: Love the new punk look sir Rob @Aquagraph
Ah, but there's the rub.... Thanks Kappa, I'm trying to locate fellow Electrofreaks with my FADERHEAD avatar.... which clearly you are not. It's a long shot, but you never knew. El Matarife turned out to be a metalhead when he saw my Destruction avatar.
Had a glimpse at the FADERHEAD vid. Not bad, but THE YOUNG GODS are still leading ! They are from Fribourg near the HQ of TAG Heuer in case you didn't know.
First you say that your favorite new Aquaracer is the black creamy beige vintage one and now this it's like I dont even know who you are anymore!! "the CBL2116 green fume dial Monaco Heuer 02. It's a beauty isn't it? Perhaps my favourite Monaco yet, and possibly even better in the green dial stakes than the original steel bezel/green dial Aquaracer of 2019!"
My favourite new Aquaracer is the new tribute to 844, but I also said that if it was just a black and red Aquaracer with white lume I would like it just as much (if not more), and this... this is cool, and not retro at all!
