Went and tried on the Hour Glass Monaco today. They still have at least one left out of the 50.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like about it and was very tempted to hand over my credit card, but seeing I had just picked up the 10's Monaco just a matter of days before, I held off.

I loved the black PVD case and look forward to TH using this again in a new version sometime in the near future hopefully as it really does suit the Monaco.
Overall a very nice watch.

I like this one a lot. If only they had used that case on the 10s.
There's been an overload of Monaco goodness this year. I commend your will power for not adding this to your extensive collection. 👍

Agree...this with the "Phantom" dial on the 2010s Monaco would probably have been enough for me to buy that one. I think what I struggle with on this one is the cream/ yellow dial (which of course is one of its main features!)

Have you seen it in the 'flesh' yet?

I’d like to see one i. The flesh too... the cream/beige dial doesn’t do it for me in the photos but like a lot of these special editions - it comes together in the flesh 😀

When I tried it on it felt good. I didn't get any sense of it feeling washed out or girly at all and this comes from a man who almost always wears black.
I felt that THG had done a good job with this.
Just looking at the photo I took of my own wrists above, I feel that it does look more washed out in the photo as opposed to in real life so I recommend having a try on if you are able.

A quick post on this one, now including news on the Calibre 11 movement- in short, it survives in the TAG Heuer range alongside the Heuer 02.

This is good news. Unless they could modify the H02 movement to accommodate a left-side crown (which it seems they can't), it would be hard to believe they'd eliminate the C11 movement (and the Monaco C11) in favor of only having the Monaco H02 in the line up.
